First off, saying these boots feel a size larger than marked is an understatement. I originally bought a 10 for my 10.5 feet, knowing they ran large from a previous pair of Timberland boots. Had to return them because they were still at least another size too big. Eventually settled on a 9, which are still even a tad larger than they need to be, but will work. So these boots are closer to 2 sizes larger than marked. Otherwise, very comfortable out of the box and look good with jeans or khakis.

Great! They're very comfortable, and cool to wear with jeans, a flannel shirt and sweater. Nice look. They run big, I actually had to get 1 size smaller. Zappos rocks. They're the best place to buy shoes! Love 'em.

I'm a big Timberland fan and when I saw them I just had to have them. When I received them they were everything I expected. Comfortable and stylish.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Timberland is my first choice and maybe Lugz are my second and Zappo\'s carries both!

Looks good, but slightly cheaper than the price it sells for. The high shaft holds the foot in place well, despite the fact that the shoe feels at least a size larger than it should be. Medium is absolutely wide enough!

Great boot but huge. This is a very nicely constructed boot, with a comfortable feel and quality materials. However, I rate it at 4 stars as the boot is at least 1.5 sizes larger than marked. I typically wear a size 14 dress shoe, (e.g., Johnston and Murphy, Allen Edmonds), but these boots had a good 1.5" of extra space that I was not expecting. Returned shoes for a 13 instead, and will re-post with the outcome.

 |  | Zappos rocks, you so made my nine year old son’s day. We went looking for new DC shoes last Sunday and spent 3 hours only to find out that his shoe size was 6.5 right between boy’s and men's. The stores had no selection in either. We were told by one salesperson that most boys skip that size so they don't carry many. He was very disappointed, I suggested ordering from you guys that night and he didn't want to wait for shipping. I told him Zappos was quick, but he wanted to try stores again, so we did on Tuesday evening and came home empty handed again. We got online, ordered a pair he liked (there were so many to chose from in the size we needed) at 9:30 that night. Of course he was all about when would they be here, again I told him how quick you are at shipping and that probably Thursday at the latest Friday. He came home from school on Wednesday and they were on the front porch. He was so happy!!! Loved the shoes and can't wait to order another pair. I have told other people how fast they got here and no one believes that is even possible. I don't know how you do it, but thanks so much. You're the best.
