I have other Frye boots and these fit tighter than their harness styles.Ok for logging and running a little, like across a street,without tripping.In a store I might have passed.They are definatly thinner than I expected.Frye doesn\'t have width options which is too bad.These boots do look ok with a suit but most shoes look bigger.I haven\'t walked long distances with them because city streets are so filthy my other loggers get picked.They are good for motorcycle riding with the tight fit and height.They also look what they cost,which,compared to upscale brands is moderate.I would not use these in woods with a chainsaw,if you don\'t wear safety boots for chainsawing go with Danner.These boots are better than most build wise but don\'t feel the same as other loggers or workboots.Maybe it is the old fashioned build or the small scale for a boot.More like a shoe with tall treads than a boot.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Danner,Frye,Timberland,Cabelas,Puma except cells which hurt,MBT,Levis Sliver Tab
