Solid feel under foot, the highlights on the leather are a sprayed on metallic color so there may be variations in appearance. Good with longer bootcut jeans. I have a high arch, and do not think that there is much arch support. The zipper gives an interesting look, but I don\'t think I\'d wear them with tights and a skirt, which is what I envisioned.

I had purchased these shoes thinking that they were going to replace last year\'s born pace. When I tried them on they were not only tighter than I expected, but also had less padding so even standing in them hurt the balls of my feet. I love the design and wanted to keep them, but the need for comfort won over fashion with these.
