I am a true fan of Sofft shoes and the Simola boot is another fine example of how well these shoes are made. They cushioning in the entire sole of the shoe and heel, makes the shoe comfortable from day one, as it doesn't require a break-in period. I wear a 9M shoe; however, as Sofft brand shoes tend to run a bit on the narrow side, I recommend getting a 1/2 size larger to give you the extra space you need. I love the black suede and they look fabulous with narrow leg jeans.

It is very difficult to find a shoe that makes me taller and still be comfortable to wear all day long. They can be dressed up or worn with jeans. Stylish boot. I really like this stylish boot, which closely resembles my old favorite Donald Pliner red suede cowboy booties, and is soft and comfortable in black suede. I usually wear 9.5 WW, but tried the 10 D in this boot, and can wear it easily. The extra length in the back is less noticeable in a booty than it would be in a pump or flat.

I tried the sofft brand dress shoes a few years back and fell in love with them. I'm the kind of person who does not want to "break" in shoes, I want them comfortable when I first put them on. These are those shoes. They are comfortable right from the beginning and they last forever. And I get a bonus: they fit my narrow foot!

The dark brown is beautiful and they look great under a narrow boot-cut jean, but not a good fit. In years past, I fit into a 7.5M easily. With the Simola (and also the Sofft Oriole), a 7.5M was too narrow. A 7.5W was a little wider in the front, where I needed width, but much wider in the back, where I do not need the width. The 7.5W were so wide in the back that I would have tripped. I convinced myself I could wear the 7.5M, wore them to work and even as a computer programmer, found myself in oh so much pain! It is too bad, they are really pretty. Perhaps I can find a shoe repair person to stretch them.

I'm heartbroken because I absolutely love the style and heel of this shoe, but it's so narrow I have to return them. If I love a shoe and it runs narrow, I can usually suffer the discomfort for a day or two; fashion hurts sometimes. But it's just not doable with the Sofft Simola, unfortunately. It was so narrow that after a few minutes I couldn't feel my toes!

When I think of my shoe size, I think of trailer parks. Yep, double wide. Like other Sofft shoes, though, I can get away with a D/Wide in this style when I size up a half size. Usually I complain because I can't find a heel in a wide width. Complain no more! These are stacked heels! Really high for me, but not too uncomfortable nonetheless. I got the Kenya suede. Love the looks of this shootie. There is a lot of pressure on the forefront of my foot, due to the height, but I love the height of this heel. I recommend this for wide-footed gals who are on the constant prowl for a wide heel.

It's been a while since I've bought a pair of serious heels. I just couldn't resist at least trying these. They really are as cute as they look. They are true to size, and at a "D" width, fit snugly on my feet in nylons. Even as an owner of other Sofft shoes, I was surprised by their comfort.

Runs Narrow. I ordered these in a 9 wide and when I took them out of the box they looked so narrow I double-checked the box and packing slip to make sure I *had* ordered a wide.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, I had. Lovely boots and well-made but they do run quite narrow.
