I ordered these online in the afternoon (I live on the west coast), and they were delivered the very next morning by 10:00 AM! I selected the free standard shipping & was expecting them within a week, but Zappos very kindly decided to upgrade it to overnight shipping at no extra charge. Thank you Zappos, you rule! The boots (or "shooties") were true to size. I normally wear a size 8, sometimes lean towards 8-1/2 in closed-toe shoes. Size 8 fit perfectly, even when I tried them on at the end of the day when my feet tend to swell a bit. This the third pair from the 'Pour la Victoire' brand that I've bought. The 2 other pairs are size 8-1/2 and are snug, so I thought there was no way these size 8 would fit (Zappos did not have size 8-1/2 in stock in the color I wanted). But size 8 fit perfectly, so this particular model may be cut with a little more room compared to other shoes in the brand line. The quality of these shooties is outstanding. High quality leather and craftsmanship. You shoe fiends who really know shoe craftsmanship will tell the minute you slip them on that they are high quality, almost to the point of feeling handmade. They were well worth the money spent! The design is modern, hip, edgy, and the ruffle is not over-the-top or silly-looking, so this style will endure several seasons. The styling of the heel makes it a classic piece in your shoe wardrobe.

I love the style and look of this bootie. The leather is top shelf, soft as butter! I'm so glad that I purchased them! I'm wearing them right now while I'm typing this review and they fit and feel like they were tailor made just for me! Now with that said, I have to mention the impeccable service at Zappos, it is second too none! I'll be a customer for life!

I received an email that my order was upgraded to priority shipping for no other reason than to say “Thanks for the business.” These are the kinds of things that totally win over customers, getting something extra when all you expect is the normal.
