Like the first poster, I am a runner with muscular calves and these boots fit me very well. I have had really hard time finding fashionable well made boots like these. Thanks Zappos for offering such a wonderful selection. I especially find the circumference information helpful when making my selection. Not all shoes sites will tell you that critical bit of info! I am a very satisfied customer.

I love these boots. They are really comfortable and I get compliments on them all the time. And they are great for those of us with "runners' calves". I wish I had the skinny little calves, but I don't, so the wider shaft is a huge plus for me.

 |  | I just called Zappos to ask questions about shoe width (I need a wider size) and a rep helped me to find some boots that come in wide sizes, of which I ordered two pair. She was very helpful and friendly, and also upgraded me to VIP status. I'm THRILLED that my order will come tomorrow! And my return will be sped up as well. Thanks to the rep for doing a great job!
