I was looking for just a chillout shoe since I have to wear dress shoes all week, and I didn\'t want the standard sneak. This fits the bill. Good price, nice style. Feels a little flimsy at times but overall statisfied and a good value.

I ordered these sneakers despite the mediocre reviews because, aesthetically, they were exactly what I was looking for. I don\'t regret it, but it worth noting that the reviews about the breathability are correct. Although these are canvas, your feet will somehow get very hot.

Super awesome shoe - for the past couple of years my friends have been telling me to get Macbeths, but because I'm a skater I always want something that's gonna last, but i decided I needed a good chilling out shoe and the Wallisters are great! I bought them in a half a size down and the fit perfect. They are really comfy and I wear them everywhere. I'm definitely going to buy another pair and of course I'm going to buy from Zappos. The service was absolutely fantastic.

I was pumped when these shoes showed up and everything was great for the first week; they look great, feel great, etc. Then I noticed on the heel of the right shoe, the upper is separating from the sole. As of now the boot has pulled away from the sole from the Macbeth logo to over two inches towards the inside of the shoe. I hope I can get credit/replacements for these things, but we'll see. I bought these in part due to the decent price in relation the the Vans(Rowley series) I usually buy, but I got burned trying to save a few bucks.

Good look and comfort that doesn't seem to last -
I really like Macbeth and their animal friendly line of shoes; I have owned many pairs of their Elliot and Wallister styles and colors. While they look great and are some of the more comfortable canvas shoes out there, when it comes to the insole and arch support they just don't seem to hold up very long. I haven't been able to have a pair last more than 3 months without them falling apart on me. I will admit, I'm pretty hard on my shoes, but when the stitches are coming out and the sides are splitting after only a couple of weeks, it's time to get a sturdier canvas shoe.

These shoes look awesome. Very similar feel to a Vans Slip-On (which have been my favorite for awhile), although not quite as comfortable. Try these shoes out!

I think they are the best shoes right now!!
I have the Manchester’s, Elliot’s, and now the Wallister’s and they all are very comfortable and look good.

I usually wear canvas sneakers. I bought these because I thought they'd be like the Elliots. These are a bit more padded. It's good though. They're comfortable, but not what I expected. I kept them though because I do a lot of walking. They're not thick like skate shoes, but not thin like Elliots, just in the middle. I guess more like Vans Old Schools and Converse One Stars. They felt tight and my pinky toe rubbed against the sides for the first few days, but that stopped as I broke them in. I didn't notice these running large. I always wear thin sneakers though so I'm always a 9.5. Overall, a good sneaker. Macbeth is great, they have a lot of sneakers made with synthetic materials and (last time I checked) they have strict labor policies – no sweat shops! I could do without the rock star thing...but whatever.

Yay!! Finally a great looking Vegan shoe! Although they feel to run about a half size too big, I've grown attached to my Macbeth's. Get a pair for yourself! And go Vegan!

I like them a lot, but they don’t let your feet breathe -
The ventilation isn’t very good and your feet get hot compared to all my other shoes... but other than that, I like the shoes.

Great looking shoe -
I ordered the black/cement on Wednesday morning and it was at my doorstep by the time I got home from school on Thursday. Excellent shipping. The shoe itself looks really nice, but the heel area is a little hard. It will probably take 1-2 weeks of breaking in. They go well with bootcut jeans. My go to shoes have been the Vans Prison style, but I think these Wallisters are going to take its place.

Sweet Kicks -
Just got my Wallisters in the mail today- great pair of shoes. Very low profile, similar to Vans slip-ons. They fit true to size, a little snug in the sides but I'm sure they'll stretch out after wearing them for a while. I ordered the shoes on Wednesday around midnight, and received them on Friday around noon, props to Zappos for fantastic service!

Chris Shiflett told me to wear these shoes...
Simple, cool looking shoe. Uncomfortable at first. Took about a week to really break them in. Tight and uncomfortable around the outside of the foot just below the toe, but broke in after a while. Also a little high around the ankle making the sides of the ankle a little uncomfortable at first. All of these things pass after about a week.

Great shoe!
Really comfortable and really sleek shoe for casual walking. Does run big so get a smaller size than usual.

Looks better than feels -
I absolutely love the look of this show. However, I was extremely disappointed in the comfort of it. It really doesn't fit well at all and is pretty uncomfortable. Some of the other shoes I wear are the more stylized street versions from DVS (Milan, Wakeskate, Freemont, etc...) and every one of those is far superior in comfort to the MacBeth.
It's too bad because I really love the look of these shoes, but the comfort leaves something to be desired.

A great looking shoe.
These Macbeths are great! It was a little uncomfortable at first but once you break them in they are really great. I got a lot of compliments about them at school. I would definitely recommend them.

Where can I begin?
Well, firstly I’d like to say that these shoes are sub-par for sure. I purchased them about 3 weeks ago and since I have already worn them outside and broken them in, it is impossible to return them now, sadly. So where do I begin? Well, I think I’ll just cover my biggest complaints with these. They are very uncomfortable. Absolutely no arch support. The sole is made of a cheap, stiff rubber that has no give when pressure is applied to it. My feet hurt just thinking about it. After a few hours of wearing them, I would gladly take them off and go barefoot. Also, if you're the type of person that experiences foot perspiration (even in the slightest like me), you'll find that these shoes have real trouble breathing making it a very unpleasant feeling I think you can imagine. I really feel that there are much better shoes available, even if you are looking for a vegan shoe that will treat your feet better in the long run. Simply put, these shoes stink.

Very nice shoe -
I bought this shoe after trying to find a casual, yet fashionable shoe that was vegan. This shoe looks really good and is quite comfortable. I should add that for the first couple days that I wore them, they tended to squeak when I would walk. After about a week’s time though, that problem is virtually gone. Overall though, I really like them and would order another pair.
