These are pretty swanky shoes. I love the teal accent to them, and the heel is high but not uncomfortable. In fact, the shoes are probably the most comfortable high-heeled shoes I have ever worn (at least, the inner sole of the shoe is very cushiony). They feel very sturdy on and have a good tread on the bottom, so you won't slip all over the place. I followed the recommendation of the previous purchasers who advised that the shoes ran a little small and to order a half size up. I usually wear an 8 to an 8 1/2, so I ordered the 9. The 9s are a little big, but I can tell that an 8 1/2 would have been just a little too snug. I wore them around the house briefly before heading off to a conference; they felt so comfortable I didn't think twice about it, but after about 6 hours the first day I wore them, I had a huge blister on the side of my foot and could barely stand to walk in them. I have normal feet in that they aren't particularly wide or narrow, so it felt to me that the toe-box was just a little too narrow for my feet. I still think they are great shoes, and maybe I will try them with socks and see if that helps to prevent the blister.

Cute shoes! Felt true to size and width until I wore them with hose, then I walked out of them even with heel liner. I do have a narrow foot. Thank goodness for the strap! The leather is thick and not at all pliable but they are still comfortable and I love them.

I read the reviews and ordered a 7 1/2 instead of a 7. I consider myself to have a short fat foot. The shoes are too big and when I stand my heel slips forward and you can see the shoe is too big for my foot. I wear them anyway. One of these days I'll find some lambs wool and pack the front of the shoe so my heel looks right. I get tons of compliments and I love the J-41 because they are so comfortable. I am a Chiropractor so good footwear are my thing and I've finally found a heel I can wear to work and church. I also bought the lace up boots and they are so comfortable I hate to take them off.

Great/comfortable shoes. This is my 4th pair of J-41s; they\'re always comfortable, and I was excited to see that they had come out with a more work-appropriate style. I\'ve worn mine for two days straight now, and while I\'m experiencing a little break-in period where my pinky toes are being squished a little bit, I can feel the shoes stretching, and other than this little squeeze, these are amazingly comfortable. I feel like I could walk all day in them, which is certainly not the case for most heels that I own. I took the advice of other buyers and got 1/2 size larger than I usually get; my heel slips a little now, but I don\'t think I could have fit in my usual size. I\'m very pleased with my shoes and would highly recommend them to others. Much cuter in person than online.

Tried these on in a local shoe store and they did not have my size in the gray color so I thought I\'d try Zappos. Sure enough. Zappos delivered!\r\n\r\nThey are as comfy as heels can be. I am a high school teacher and I walk the line between having fashionable shoes and comfortable shoes. These fall nicely in that gray area (pun intended). \r\n\r\nI like the contrasting colored stitching (the gray has a lovely pale blue stitched border). I also have the brown with the pink and those are lovely too. \r\n\r\nI usually wear a 9.5 but felt like I needed the 10 because the heel height made my foot move forward smashing my toes. I end up with a little extra room at the heel; however, due to the nature of my job (I am on my feet almost all day), I\'d rather have extra toe room and a little heel slippage.\r\n\r\nI get lots of compliments on these shoes from co-workers and even from students at my all-boys high school.

These shoes are in fact fabulous. The foot is cushioned and wide enough in the toes and ball to be comfortable with that much heel. The shoes do not look to chunky and they are even cuter in person than online; I got the distressed black. I'm 5 foot 1 so I always wear even a small heel and I'm always looking for something that can be worn with jeans or pants. I'm extremely satisfied.

Great shoe!
My co-worker had this shoe and I had been on the hunt for the perfect mary jane for about 6 months. Who knew I would find it on her foot! The shoe was a little snug at first and really pressed against the balls of feet. But after wearing them a few times, they've stretched out and are comfy. I wish the back heel was a little taller, as the super-cushy insoles take up a lot of room. If you can find the J-41 waterproof boots, they are warm and really comfortable.

So comfy, you will think you can run a marathon in them. I have gotten nothing but compliments since I started wearing these shoes. And they are really easy to spend the day running around in. No break-in period that I have experienced. Love these!

J-41 is a great shoe. I own three other J-41 shoes, but this style is not what I had hoped for. I almost sent them back. The quality is great, the height is good, the fit is not. This pair of J-41 is too tight. I don't have a wide foot… I have a normal foot. In fact, I just had my feet evaluated at a clinic for running shoes and my feet are average arch, normal width. Here's the scoop: not only are they too tight (have to wear thin socks), but the strap sits across the top of my foot and the velcro releases itself. I don't feel like I could wear this shoe if I had a lot of walking to do or run to catch a train; this shoe would probably fall off. I bought this shoe with the intent of having a stylish shoe for the winter. Needless to say I was disappointed.

This is a great sexy little shoe that looks good with everything. Finally a company that makes a great looking heel that's comfortable. Definitely agree with the sizing up though, but if you do that, you will not regret a thing about this shoe. You will love it!

Love these shoes! Incredibly flattering, but these definitely run at least 1/2 size small. I am usually an 8, 8 1/2, but ordered the 9 and it's just right. They feel a bit narrow at first, but after wearing them around the house for a couple of hours, they were perfect. Quality of these shoes is awesome and the inside padding/support is heavenly! Well made, well designed, and like the name, fabulous! Bought them in the grey and the brown and am very tempted to buy the black! Feel like I could run a marathon in these, rare for a heeled shoe. I strongly recommend buying these, but beware, this brand becomes addicting after your first couple of pairs.

Love these shoes! They are super cute and comfortable. Word of warning, though: they run very small. I recommend ordering at least 1/2 size bigger. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7, and have a somewhat wide foot. I ordered a 7.5 and they fit just right. I probably could have gotten away with ordering an 8, but I plan on wearing these shoes with tights so 7.5 should be fine. Otherwise, they are really comfortable and adorable. I have the gray ones, and the colors are pretty true to the image.

J-41 is an excellent brand because not only are all the shoes in style, but they fit perfectly! This particular style is a key for any wardrobe because it goes with everything from jeans to pants to dresses! J-41 Fabulous feels comfortable enough to wear all day long or a long night out on the town! I have gotten so many compliments! My J-41s will be going with me on my Chicago shopping/theater trip! A dream come true! A high-heeled shoe with a trail-rating. These are gorgeous shoes, so comfortable, sturdy with a "grippy" sole that helps you walk on any surface.

"Fabulous" says it all. A sexy, comfortable, stylish shoe. The proportions really work for a mid size woman. It gets lots of comments. Probably runs a little narrow since it fits me comfortably and I often wear an AA.

I just got my Fabulous shoes in the distressed brown! I immediately tried them on. These shoes are so comfy that they stayed on. At first it felt as if my big toe is a little squiched but it soon stretched enough to be comfortable. I don't wear high heels like this a lot, I would say I usually have a 2.5" heel, but this shoe does not make me feel all wobbly and unstable. I do think it has to do with the velcro strap. I ordered a half size bigger as per other reviews and they are perfect. The 8 would have definitely been too small. I have to add that the arch support is amazing! This is really a cute shoe.I just wish J-41 will have some consistancy with their sizing. I have a pair of Journeys and I had to get them in a 7.5, my regular shoe size is an 8. That was also per most reviews.

For tiny feet - Pros: amazing arch support, cute style, love the grey color, velcro-closing strap (so practical!). Cons: very narrow, felt a size smaller. This is the first time I've had a shoe from Zappos feel a whole size smaller; I could barely get my foot in, and could barely fasten the strap over. Another thing you can't tell so much from the photos is the large chunk of sole between the heel and the front part of the shoe gives the shoe a chunkier look from the side, which I didn't expect and didn't really like.

Great and comfortable high heel shoe!
I am a true 9.5m and bought this size and found the new Fabulous shoe in Distressed Black (which goes with everything) to run a little small. I sent the 9.5m back and ordered the 10m. The size is perfect. I have to say I LOVE them. The shoe is very comfortable for a high heel (which I don't usually wear high heels because I have a bad back and had knee surgery this year), and has good arch support and has alot of cushion in the ball of the foot and the heel too. Plus they go great with all the new jeans out this fall (boot cut, straight leg and skinny). They are a classic, contempory shoe and I can't wait to wear them for years to come.
