These shoes are adorable and have great arch support but the strap across the top of the shoe dug into the top of my foot. It hit that bone on the top of my foot and just felt too tight. There is elastic in the strap but it didn't stretch quite enough to make it comfortable. Now, it might have stretched after wearing 5 or 6 times but I couldn't take the chance that it wouldn't. I do have a high instep (if that's what it's called) so that is probably why the strap was too tight. As usual, Zappos is the greatest!!

 |  | Most of the time people just email to complain. This is just the opposite. I'm totally thrilled with my purchase, as I have been in the past just buying shoes. This is going to be the best Christmas ever for my mom. I was a wee bit unsure about ordering some clothing online for her since she is so incredibly fussy, but this item is perfect!
