Cole Haan is an excellent value. It looks great and fits superbly for an off the rack shoe. The cap toe style is timeless and classic; I\'d buy this shoe again in a heartbeat.

Cole Haan Caldwell Review -
I made the mistake of buying two pairs of Caldwells at the same time. Of course, in the store, they felt fine; however, upon wearing them all day, the shoes just made my feet hurt. I have even tried expensive shoe inserts, but the shoes are the worst I've even owned. I will stick with Allen Edmonds and Johnston Murphy. In retrospect, I should have passed on the Caldwells, and instead, bought Johnston and Murphy's Melton. The Meltons fit very well and needed no breaking in. Ironically, the single pair of Cole Haan's I bought before Nike purchased the company is excellent.

Beautiful shoe, runs a bit small -
I was very impressed with this shoe as soon as I opened the box, but I was disappointed when I tried it on as it was too small. I'm a pretty standard 9.5M, but this shoe had the size of a 9. I compared to other shoes of 9.5 size and it was smaller. I returned this shoe, but I was very happy with the look and construction. I can't really comment on comfort.

Simply the Best...Zappos I mean -
The shoe fits great…as expected. The real story is Zappos. I refuse to buy my shoes anywhere else. I'll go to a store, try on the shoe, and then order it from here. This company is a few cuts above the rest...PERIOD!!!

Nice shoes.
These shoes look and feel great. They look very well made. I still own my first pair of Cole Haan shoes. Thirteen years and several new soles later, they are still going strong. Only recently, the uppers started developing some surface cracks in the leather. The shoes had some water exposure in the past, which may have contributed… but they still polish up nicely and look great as long as people aren't on their knees and holding a light up to the shoes. I expect these new shoes to be just as durable and comfortable.

Classic look, modern comfort & appeal -
Hard to find fault with this shoe. It has a timeless cap-toe look with a great leather. The shoes look phenomenal with dress slacks, khakis, or even nice jeans. Stiff at first, but give them a week to soften up and you will be very happy. I was skeptical that something like this could be so comfortable, but I love wearing these every day. A solid choice and a must-have for any wardrobe.

An outstanding shoe overall. I love the way they fit and feel on my feet. They feel comfortable, look professional and also my first dress shoe I've purchased in a long time. For the cost of this shoe, the money is well spent. Also for the services that Zappos provided is beyond compare. Their services is outstanding, the staff I've talked to about my order were nice, courteous and professional. I've ordered through Zappos several times now and I tell you their services is number one in my book. I love you Zappos, keep up the great work and outstanding services you provide. Excellent shoe for dress and comfort -
I bought this shoe for work--I wear suits daily. It's simple but professional style and look, plus the lace-up, got my attention. The leather sole sold it--I've had bad luck with those rubber donut-hole soles before.
The price was OK--more than I usually would spend, but I've been very pleased. And pleasantly surprised with the "out of the box" comfort and wearability. A plus: they arrived within just a couple of days.

Great shoe!
Excellent finish and materials. The shoe fits true to size and is very comfortable after only a couple of hours of "break-in". Excellent looking traditional dress shoe goes perfectly with business attire.
Zappos support is top notch!

Great shoe -
The shoes are lovely and reasonably comfortable for dress shoes. They are on the fancy side, though, so the leather is very shiny. They are also a bit more narrow than average.

Caldwell performs superbly -
Excellent value and easily conforms to foot. I would recommend this shoe for anyone wanting to run with the big dogs, but not able to drop this much per pair.
