Okay not great -
I returned these and bought Sofft Opera instead. The Sofft were cheaper and looked less matronly as someone stated the Cole Hann's appear. They are okay but for the $$ they just were not worth it to me.

Definitely one of the more comfortable pairs of pumps I\'ve put on. The styling is a little blah, and the chunky heel feels matronly. The heel tapers, which made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. I\'d say this is a fine choice for someone looking primarily for comfort, secondly for style, and not concerned with a somewhat bland and matronly look.

I have this in the red patent and it looks good. However, it's narrower than I expected so my toes get squished a bit. I am a big fan of the Cole Haan Air line and this is the first shoe in this line that's not as comfortable as I expected. Being that it's a low heel shoe, I expected it to be even more comfortable and it's not. In fact, the higher-heeled Cole Haan Air shoes that I have are more comfortable than this.

Pretty, but NOT a comfort shoe by any stretch of the imagination! Normally, I find that Cole-Haan run narrow, so I ordered the wide, which was fine in width but seemed at least a half-size larger overall. So if you order wide and are in between sizes, you may want to order down half a size. As you might expect, the patent is very stiff and so cuts into the foot at the instep when you walk, although it may soften over time. For a low-heel pump, they are very attractive, but when you buy a low-heel pump, I think you are probably expecting something more comfortable.

Pretty shoe -
I love the look of the shoe. I have very narrow feet and ordered an AA. Unlike another pair of Cole Haan shoes that I have, these are too wide in the heel. My foot slides down a lot in the shoe, which makes it uncomfortable in addition to looking strange. I mostly have solved the problem by putting an insert in the ball of the foot.

A little squeezy at the big toe joint, but very pretty with tights and a skirt.
