These are nice classic, relaxed boots. I really like how they're meant to fit a little looser. The shaft, as mentioned below, will fit wider calf widths comfortably. Since it's cut a little straighter, it seems the shaft will relax and bunch naturally, which I also found appealing. I bought these in the brown shade. I can't wait to break these in, let the color deepen and age. I just know they'll look even more beautiful when they do. Heel height is good, feels stable. My issues: Quality -- the leather is very lightweight and on the thin side. I don't recommend wearing these in more severe weather conditions. With the thin synthetic sole, lightweight leather and light canvas-y lining, they don't strike me as warm, durable, hold up to snow-type boots. Think of these as more of a fashion boot. Price -- it isn't bad, but I don't think I'd pay full price for these. I don't feel the construction warrants full price. Comfort -- to me, I feel no cushioning in the sole. I don't recommend these for extended periods of standing or walking. To sum up, I'd recommend these for someone looking for a relaxed yet refined boot that wants the style without the bulk. I live in central Texas where it doesn't get super cold in the winter, so they work well here. We'll see how well they hold up over time. And of course, if you are between sizes, order the half size up.

I purchased these boots in the Marrone color. They are the most gorgeous boots! The shaft is wide, so they will definitely fit over larger calves or look really cute slouched. They are a bit uncomfortable, but I just think they need breaking in. Totally worth buying!

Wow! This is one hot boot. I love the fact that is has no zipper. It just looks so classy and timeless. I tried it with a pencil skirt and skinny jeans. Perfect for both! Pretty comfy, I can go out with the girls and such in this boot, but I would not walk in it all day. As long as you can sit down from time to time, this is the perfect boot. I'm so happy I bought it!

These are my favorite boots. They\'re comfortable enough to walk in all day, and they are incredibly stylish. I get a compliment on them every time I wear them. I have them in black and orangish brown leather. I bought the orange ones at Nordstrom.

Love, love, love these boots.
I've tried to different pair of boots before I finally found these and I am so glad I did. They're good quality, comfortable and just what I was looking for in terms of style. Yay!

Classic 80s boots. These remind me of some of the 80s boots, like Zodiac etc. The style is classic and the heel is very wearable for a 3.5 inch heel. I think the medium thickness of it adds stability. I wore them last weekend to an outdoor fair and walked around for a few hours, including wading through the inevitable ankle deep puddles. At the end of the day, I was still comfortable and the boots were still dry inside. A minute with the hose, and they got their good looks back. I may have to pick up an extra pair of these!
