These shoes worked great. I got the rainbow ones. There very trippy. I get a lot of comments on them. They are great to fit. True to size.

So far I have bought 3 pairs of the "Encore" Globe shoe model for my son to skate in. He loves them because they are comfortable, hold up well, and grip well. I only wish that they would last a little longer before getting holes along the side of the shoe. They have lasted longer than 4 other brands we have tried. I guess that's pretty good considering he skates 2+ hours a day. The designs are really cool, too. Zappos is a pleasure to do business with: always super courteous, and shoes get here fast! We'll be ordering more soon.

The size and width are perfect. The look and quality is stylish and tough. They have a classic look to them which I love. The only thing that really lacks is the padding and arch support. If you are at a concert or standing/moshing for a few hours. Your feet get tired due to the lack padding/cushion. Same goes for bmx and skating for hours. For chill shoes they would be great. Buy them for the style and you will be happy.

These shoes were great. I got tons of great comments on them. They skated great too. I wore a hole in them in about two months, but I would definitely get them again. Awesome shoe.

Bought this for my son, he said it was just a little too small. I am not sure if maybe his foot has grown or if the shoe runs 1/2 size small. Other than that, he loves the style.

I'm only 4'10" and these boots are FABULOUS for a petite person. I wear a size 4 and the shaft height on these boots is perfect for my not so long legs :o) I also love the fact that the buckles on the sides are adjustable for smaller calves. (I was initially concerned as I read all the reviews noting these boots were great for larger calves.) The heel height makes these boots work appropriate and very comfortable (insoles are awesome too). I've only owned Sudini knee boots in the past and I won't buy another brand ever - completely worth the money. I wear a size 4 so a million thanks to Sudini for making a 4 and thank you Zappos for carrying the 4! I do a ton of online shopping and Zappos has the most unbelievable shipping turnaround time I've seen - truly AMAZING! Thank you, Zappos!!

These are the best shoes I have ever bought from Globe…they have good arch support and feel so comfy. They look great and overall are just my favorite yet.

Perfect shoes - the insole is well padded and the hexagon grip works perfect. The toe cap and the ollie area hold up well and the stitching doesn’t wear off, both areas are double layered. These shoes lasted me about 3 and a half months and always felt comfortable. Get them, you wont be disappointed.

These Shoes Are Great -
Encore's are the most comfortable skate shoes I have ever owned. They break in really quick and have awesome board feel. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants very comfy shoes that are great skate shoes also.

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
