I love this shoe and my boyfriend went nuts when he saw me in shoes that look like they're straight out of our childhood! Very cute and versatile - love 'em with knee sox and a miniskirt!

My brother had these when we were growing up in the 1960s and I always wanted a pair. I didn't even know they made them in women's sizes until I searched for these on Zappos on a whim. They are just as comfortable as everybody says. As with most Clarks shoes, they do run 1/2 size large, so I'm glad I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear. These shoes are like a security blanket for your feet. Simply wonderful!

So comfortable -
I always wanted a pair of these when I was younger, but I couldn't afford them. Now that my feet hurt more, I couldn't afford NOT to buy good shoes. These have been great and are the most comfortable shoes I have. They didn't need any real break in time and they are definitely wide and fit well.

Shoes were comfortable but started to feel heavy after a full day on my feet. I probably should have gone a size up since the shoe gets narrow by the toes. I have bunions and my pinky toe was getting cramped. I think that after a few more wears, it will stretch out.

This shoe is definitely comfortable and well-made, but I find the heel area a bit wide. I don't know if the problem would be resolved had I gotten a half-size smaller than my usual size. If I wear thick socks, they fit better.

Loves These Boots -
My daughter absolutely loves these boots. Everyone in her high school asks her where she got them - no one had ever heard of them before. Something different than the same old, same old. I used to wear them as a teenager and remembered how comfortable they were - she also loves them.

I love my Wallabees. I have had the same pair for 5 years. I am a pharmacist and I have to stand up all day. I wear these shoes to work everyday, I wear them out, and I wear them all the time. They form to your feet too. I also ride 4 wheelers and they have been soaked in mud and water and has not affected them one bit. I just clean them up and they are as good as new! They are without a doubt the best shoes I have ever had. I will own a pair of these shoes forever!

Very comfy boot -
Loved this boot. It felt really comfortable. I only wish this style came in other colors and other finishes than suede (I noticed the men's line had a pretty wide range of colors and finishes. So, come on Clarks - how about providing them for women too! I would definitely buy another pair of two of this boot if there was more variety to choose from.).

Disappointed -
Was very anxious to find a good walking shoe for the tough sidewalks of NYC. This shoe seemed to be comfortable for the first hour or two then it became apparent that the toe area was way too constricting. Tighter from top to bottom rather than from side to side making the shoes very uncomfortable for long periods of time. The shoe is only good for short, very casual, non-active periods of time. Too bad and a waste of money.

Decent buy -
I like the way these boots look under jeans and they're nice to wear in the winter. Because they're leather they are very stiff when you first get them - but I assume that the more you wear them the softer they will get. I have kind of wide feet and my little toe feels a little smushed. I bought these shoes because my cousin had them and she raved about them. It might just be my feet. They do look good with jeans though.

My granddaughter told me about the Wallabee boot, and when I saw it at a department store and noticed it was a Clarks shoe, I knew it would have great support and be comfortable. They did not have my size thus I came home and went straight to my computer and went to Zappos, knowing they would have it. As always, thanks Zappos.

THEY FIT LIKE A PAIR OF GLOVES !

The Best -
I remember the Wallabee from years ago. This is the most comfortable shoe in the world! I have not been able to find these in years and finally found them last year, 2005. My daughters and I are going to get a few more in the fear we will not be able to find them again. My only regret is that they don't come in other colors. I have a pair of low cut also but prefer the higher cut.

I also find it amazing that in a blink of an eye, my shipment of shoes is at my door. Personally I feel I get the best of shoes from Zappos that I can't find anywhere. When you have a child that has a shoe thing and I get to order a bunch of her so called popular shoes in one sitting, it saves a mom a lot of time and stress. I tell everybody about this web site.
