Great Boots!
I bought these boots to go for a visit to Vermont. These were great! They look good and feel good. True to size. They were warm and very easy to take on and off. I want to buy another pair in another color now!

I couldn't believe it! I ordered these boots on the evening of December 23rd and they arrived on Christmas Eve evening. I was floored! These boots are beautiful and comfortable. I can't wait to wear them. Zappos.com is the best! Excellent customer service. Thanks to UPS too!!

These Boots Were Made For Walking -
I took a chance and purchased these boots, hoping I'd find a pair that were warm, comfortable, easy to put on and with good tread. Well, I found the whole package. I couldn't be happier. I did have to put some insoles inside to support my arch, but that's only because I have recently had a bout of fasciitis and need the extra support no matter what I am wearing. On two occasions recently I wore the boots all day and had no trouble with sore feet. I also like how easy they are to put on and take off. Enjoy!

Was going to return, and then changed my mind -
When I first got these shoes, I put them on and, as others have said, they run BIG (I ordered half a size smaller than I usually get). I have wide feet and ordered the widest size they come in. I have large ankles, and so most ankle shoes are snug or don't fit my ankles. With these, I have room to spare on the ankle. I opted to try cushion inserts and put them in the shoe (the shoe itself has no support and hard soles). With the insert, the shoe fits PERFECTLY. It's about the only shoe I've tried on EVER that is actually wide enough for my foot and my ankle. These are pretty roomy shoes. I'm keeping them, after all.

VERY large, hard sole -
This shoe is very wide and pretty big, like other reviews have said. I am normally a 7.5WW to 8WW (triple wide if I can find it for a 7.5). I ordered this shoe as a 7WW based on the reviews and it is still a tiny bit too big (my foot slips). I think a 6.5 will end up being too small. I also have very wide ankles/calves and the opening on this shoe is WIDE - I have room to spare. This has never happened to me in a shoe before. The sole is HARD. You will need to wear inserts to cushion your foot.

These are cute, but the soles are a bit too hard. Also, the giant zipper pull made a loud clunky noise every time I moved my foot. I decided to return them and keep looking.

Good Utilitarian Boot -
Cute and adorable-they're not. Somewhat stylish with the fur lining. Loden green looks more brown. I wear these a lot in our awful, rainy weather - for the price, I don't care if they get trashed. They've held up well so far. They are much better made than similarly priced boots at chain stores. Zipper is a great plus. 7.5 wide was a perfect, comfy fit.

Cute; Good Choice -
This boot is wide and comfortable, but looks cute on--no looking like I am wearing monster boots! The toe box is big, almost wider than I need and wearing thick socks are a must. There is not a lot of padding in the sole of the boot, so I had to supplement with an orthotic for my heels because I have bone spurs. They are great for an ordinary day of school, where I sit a lot and walk around between classes, but wouldn't be good for a day of shopping on my feet. Excellent traction on snow and ice, and easy to get on and off with a zipper--laces are just for show and adjusting fit.

Great boot and comfortable.
Loved the look of the boot. The fit was perfect and the only problem was the zipper pull on one of the boots came off in my hand before I zipped the boot. Was comfortable walking through two large airports and warm in the Colorado snow. I am pleased with the boots overall.

These boots felt great on, but the first time I wore them in slush/snow my feet were soaked in minutes. I returned them and am trying a different brand-the jury is still out on those.

Cute, but sizing is large -
These shoes would be super cute with jeans. But they are a size larger and wider than marked. I have other Trotters shoes, and always use 8 WW. In these, even with my thickest winter socks, that size is a whole size too big and too wide.

Large fit,
These boots look great, nice and chunky sole. However, the sole was short on cushion and was not too sturdy. I ordered 11N. It was very much too wide and a little too long. Had to return. It was not narrow enough to keep my foot from sliding into the toe creating a 1/2 inch gap behind my heel. If you have a wide foot, it might work and don't go for any extra length.

Huge!
I usually take a 7 1/2 reg which I ordered. I then tried a 7. Still too big. I just couldn't match my correct size. And the sole turned out to be made of some kind of plastic which I didn't think would be good in icy conditions. Very disappointing.

Too big/too wide -
Cute boot. I have a hard time getting boots to fit around my ankles and calves. These boots had plenty of room, but I could almost walk out of them. I might try a smaller width or size.
