First, let me just say Zappos is wonderful and they have an amazing return policy and system. With that said, I just returned the pair of these that I purchased. I love New Balance and own two pairs of 11 wides so I didn't hesitate to order these in the same size. They are short. If I choose to reorder these, I will have to go up at least a half size if not more.

I had knee surgery recently and was taking a trip to San Francisco and knew I would be walking a lot. They were great: comfortable and gave my knee the support it needed and being black were not too noticable with nice pants. BTW:I wear an unusal size-5.5w-and Zappos is the only place I can find shoes that fit.

I can't tell you how helpful the associate on the phone was. I needed to return the shoes because they were too small (I forgot to factor in my extra-thick winter socks!). She explained Zappos policy of immediately sending me a larger size without putting a second charge on my credit card. All I had to do was return the first pair within 14 days. What an awesome plan! I had my shoes with 2 days instead of having to wait for the original pair to get back to Zappos for an exchange. I love the shoes! They were completely comfortable the very first time I put them on. No "break-in" time whatsoever! They give me excellent support. I do a tremendous amount of walking and my feet feel great at the end of the day. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who walks a lot. Zappos is by far the best online company to do business with. They actually care about their customers and giving the best service possible!
