I needed a pair of walking shoes that were stylish as well. I had a huge choice at Zappo\'s, but was easily able to narrow down to what I was specifically envisioning. I ordered these, they came in speedy time and they fit beautifully, but had they not it was great to have the customer service available to return and find something else. Great shopping experience for a non-shopper!

Surprisingly tight. I have several pairs of Trotters flats, collected over the last 7-10 years, and all tend to fit beautifully right out of the box. This pair was so tight that I checked to see if the size was right.

I like to order Trotters because I can count on them to be true to size and width. They are also very good looking on.

Comfort at last! Normally I wear a 10W. Lately am having to buy WWs when I can find them, and for some reason in other brands have to drop down to 9.5WW. I ordered these in black, 10W. Guess what. They fit! They're lightweight and will be nice looking with business pant suits or jeans. Plenty wide, don't slip on the heel. Plenty of toe room although they'll need to be softened up in the toes a little. With the woven leather they will do this. Everything else felt so good that I didn't pay attention to whether there is much arch support. They promise to make my feet happy and to be one of those rare pairs of shoes that I will wear until they are totally worn out. From my experience I would say order these to your true size.

You can't imagine how happy I am to have found Zappos. I am over 60, but still with a quite good social life. However, with my 12 size and a WW width where I live, Canary Islands, it is almost impossible to find shoes that fit, comfortable, look nice and don't leave my budget in red numbers, so I buy online and my family ships them to me. Might sound kind of fussy, but it is not and believe me, it is worth it all the way. Trotters, and especially this model Carin are just what I was looking for. They feel soft. They don't harm at all and they look very nice. I match them with nice handbags and complements and they just make goal every time I use them. So I have them in almost all colors. Believe me, for me, Carin are my safe "foot" boat!

The shoes fit well and true to size. We ordered narrows and were as advertised (which isn't always the case with skinny shoes)!

Now I go right to Zappos.com and find anything I need. With the quick service, and easy, free return process, Zappos has taken the dread and uncertainty out of buying shoes!
