These are the most fabulous flip flops I've ever worn! I have very high arches and live in flip flops. However, the standard flip flop was starting to hurt my feet. My husband tried this brand and recommended it to me, and I love it! I now have 3 pairs. Not only are they comfortable, they provide great arch support and are cute to boot! Love them! Actually wish I could find a closed toe shoe that was comparable now that it is getting cold. Highly recommend!

The OluKai Amo are the most comfortable zoris or flipflops I\'ve ever had. Very comfortable with great support. The fit was true-to-size as well.

Happy overall! To those who say these are overpriced flip flops (and I did read most of the reviews for most of the models which were for the most part favorable), I disagree: This isn't a traditional flip flop as obvious by the description and pictures, so I was pretty surprised at some comments from reviewers that were dismayed at the price or the arch support. The sandal is designed for improved arch support and is well constructed, already beyond a flip flop. When I first put these on it was a little weird as I was expecting the usual foamy and non supportive tread, but as I walked around the house I became more accustomed and really liked the feeling that my arches weren't caving in as with my plastic sandal wear. One thing is the ribbon between the toes: I'm used to either rubber or leather so this takes a little getting used to as the material softens up. Bottom line: if you're looking for the traditional beach "disposable" flip flop then head over to any department store, otherwise try these. I think once you hit the ground and get used to the slightly different feeling you'll like it, as I did. As for pricing, because it's more ergonomic and the materials are superior, of course it won't be priced for the bargain bin. Compared to other "fit flops" I've seen (and embellished flip flops actually), these aren't priced totally off the charts.

I love these flip flops! I just bought my first pair recently and loved them so much, I bought my husband a pair, too. I need the support in my shoes, not a ton a support, but some, and these are great. If you have trouble wearing the flat flips, these are worth the money.

Great arch support -
If you have high arches like me, this is the flip-flop for you. These puppies have a very comfortable footbed and feel great! My only comfort complaint is that the straps are pretty stiff, but I'm hoping/assuming that they will loosen up with wear. The Amo is more feminine than the equally comfortable Ohana; the footbed is identical, the straps are the only difference. Normally I wear a 9.5 - 10, but the 9 seems to fit the bill with Olukai.

Buy these!!! They are a bit more expensive than normal flip flops, but ever so worth the price. I run around in these all across campus and around town, to the beach, to the country. These are the most comfortable flip flops that I have ever worn. I tell everyone about them. I have a high arch and this flip has a wonderful arch support. The hard sole keeps you from feeling every little thing that you step on, and the three layer construction gives you enough cushioning that you feel like you are walking on a cloud. LOVE THESE SHOES!!!

They look great and make my feet feel great. I have a high arch and they really fit the bill for me. They are also easily cleaned. They are my favorite brand even though a little more expensive.
