Great boot! I tried them on as soon as they arrived. They felt a little tight, but were okay the next time I wore them. I love the way they look and they are comfortable. Great boot for the season! I am giving them a 4 in comfort because the sole is a little thin and I can feel the ground when I am walking.

Finally! My absolute ultimate little black boot. Eric Michael is awesome, superb premium leather, perfectly constructed, maximum detailing. City chic, jeaners, leggings, little black dress, pair these with a Marc Jacobs handbag & you are couture divinity. Sizing is tricky, having read other reviews, solid 7 in all heels, chose 38 for my boot, which was perfect. So soft, wearing them barefoot right out of the box! Got them to go with my black Jeep! Love my boots! Zappos, as always, deserves a hug!

These boots are great! They make my feet look smaller. They are very comfortable and not tight in the toe like a lot of boots. They are really cute and I can dance in them!

I too, like the previous reviewer, have been looking for an ankle/mid-calf black boot for quite some time (2 years in fact). Well, I found what I wanted in these. I love these boots! The leather is soft and pliable and I can tell already that they will very comfortable to walk around in. They look good with skinny jeans as well as under bootleg jeans and they add just that touch of hardness to a skirt or dress. The heel is perfect; gives a lift to the leg and for going under pants, but small enough that the boots are everyday comfortable.

I have been looking for black boots for a long time. These boots are wonderful. I wear a 9 1/2 and the size 40 in this boot is a perfect fit. They are beautiful and really comfortable. I love these boots.

 |  | My order was placed on a Thursday at about 4pm and the shoes were on my porch the same time the VERY next day. Right after I ordered them you sent an email stating that the order was being shipped out right away with NO EXTRA CHARGE TO ME. This excellent customer service must cease at once. I am just not used to it. The shoes were ordered for me to wear to my daughter's wedding and I was hoping that I didn't wait too long to find dressy shoes for my wide feet. The shoes are lovely and perfect.I have ordered from Zappos in the past and as I recall was equally pleased, and have spread the word about Zappos’ quality and customer service (esp. to my wide footed friends).
