I bought these for my daughter who is a 20-year-old college student. I thought they would be cute worn with leggings and matchstick jeans tucked inside. Unfortunately, she had to return them. There is no way to loosen them to get them on easily. My daughter has normal size calves, but the boots did not have enough room at the top for even skinny jeans to tuck in. It was not even worth the struggle of getting them on for her to keep them to wear with tights alone.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Minnetonka Moccasins might have some similar looking ones. J Crew also

Ohhhh, I am SO disappointed! These boots look SO cool, but they are very narrow and also run small. They arrived today, and I was so excited to get them - that lasted all of 3 minutes. They are also too narrow at the calf. Unless you\'re wearing them with leggings or bare, don\'t expect to be able to tuck anything in. There is a slight cut in the top of the calf, where you could tighten it if you needed to, but my daughter\'s tiny friend tried them on, and she couldn\'t have tucked anything either. I am so sad! Back to Zappos they go! :-(((

 |  | Dear Customer Service, I would like to personally say Zappos is an amazing company that I will always order from. I am never disappointed with the service, merchandise, etc. I just ordered a pair of boots that I ordered the wrong size and received them yesterday and ordered the right pair last night and saw on my email that the new pair coming is arriving today which is incredibly fast service. There is no reason for me to order anywhere else for shoes. Zappos has the best selection of shoes that are gorgeous and also the customer service team is always incredible and extremely helpful.
