I had a flare of plantar fasciitis earlier this summer. Although the pain has largely subsided, it's very important for me to find comfortable shoes in order to go on long walks, which is my main form of exercise. The 1200s are very light, comfortable, supportive, and provide great cushioning. The Walking Strike Path is very good at correcting my gait. After wearing them for a week, I can feel the way I place my foot in each step and how I roll it to connect to the next step is subtly changing. My steps are more comfortable and effortless. I think this is the Walking Strike Path feature working. Since I've only had it for a short time, I cannot comment on their durability. But the outer soles have worn less than I expected. The only downside of the shoes is that I wish there were more cushioning in the forefeet area. But then the 1200 is marketed as performance walking shoes, so weight might be a concern.

Nice walking shoes. Overall, nice looking pair of walking shoes, but these NB shoes are not made in USA (which is what I thought was the case with all NB shoes and a part of the decision to buy NB). Still good shoes.

I put my order in late at nite and was amazed to find them on my kitchen table waiting for me when i got home from work the next day! They fit great! Zappos is a 1st class operation and as long as you know what you are looking for, you will never be dissapointed from Zappos! thank you Zappos!!!

 |  | I want to tell you a story. I was born with two club feet and while I have done my share of dancing, hiking, and generally having fun with feet that work okay, the many operations left them rather unpretty, a little misshapen and definitely wider/shorter than most feet in proportion to the carrying bodies. Finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is a rarity for me. I search through stores regularly, more often than not
leaving empty handed. I took a chance with Zappos. There were some excellent deals and the size claimed to be what I might need. A box arrived. It said "Packed with Happiness." Inside was my order – 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. They not only all fit, they all fit amazingly well. The box may very well have been packed with happiness, but let me tell you, not as much happiness as it was opened with!!! Thank you oh so much. You can't imagine what this is for me.
