Wonderful shoes. However, the width and cut of the shoe is kind of weird. I ended up with 12.5 Wides despite being a size 13-14 in most other New Balance shoes. A size 13 Wide had significant lateral movement, and way too much room for my toes.

Great running shoe. Excellent cushioning. I have trained in these for the past year and just last week ran The New York City Marathon in them.

These shoes are great for me. I wear custom orthopedics that I put inside the shoe without any problems. I am an over pronator so these shoes help correct this. They are labeled as running shoes but I wear them all the time whether I\'m running or not because they are some of the comfiest and long lasting shoes I have had.

Although it's a running shoe, the MR1225 is great for everyday use, including non-lateral gym activity. I require a narrow width, so there aren't many quality options. As most stores do not stock narrow widths, this is probably the first athletic shoe that has fit properly. I also purchased some Spenco's (a necessity with other high volume brands), but I haven't had the need to replace the standard footbeds. With regard to its intended purpose, I'm not a runner and therefore cannot comment on that aspect.

These are great shoes, light, comfortable, and good support. The laces are really good - not way too long and they are bumpy which means they won\'t come untied and they stay where you adjust them. The only problem that I have found with them is that the tongue could be a little longer.

Great running and cross training shoe. True fit. Good weight. Perfect the day I put them on. Ordered at 4:00 pm Eastern time, delivered 12:30 pm the next day at no extra charge from Zappos.

I appreciated the ease of ordering on the Zappos.com site. My shoes were exactly what I was looking for, delivered on the day I needed them. This is the fourth pair of NB 1225 (1220, 1222, 1224) I have owned. The support in the arch is what brings me back.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I currently own. They accommodate orthotics without a problem, the mesh upper more hugs my foot than conforms, as it’s not loose or tight in any spot, and they are well ventilated. Support is great, and they don’t look bad either!

These shoes are by far the best running shoes I have ever owned. I had a pair of 1224 which I really liked, but these are far, far better.\r\nThey are light, have great support and perfect cushioning. Highly recommend these shoes, particularly if you are a mild overpronator and a heavier runner with wide feet.

Outstanding comfort/cushion and support. This product feels very true to the size. I like the lacing system because it keeps the laces tight and put, but I wished this product used a different color for the laces to match the color of the shoe.

About 95% of my shoes are New Balance, but this purchase exceeded my highest hopes! A WONDERFULLY made and designed pair of shoes. I can not imagine anyone weing unhappy with a pair of shoes with these fine qualities.\r\n\r\nAND, as usual, the ZAPPO service and attention is exceeded by NO ONE on line!
