Good design, nice feel, basic black oxford. These were my first pair of Hugo Boss shoes I decided to try. I've worn mostly Kenneth Coles my whole life. Measuring up what my actual foot size is (with a measuring plate), as well as with the other shoes I've been wearing from other manufacturers, this shoe felt a full size smaller than what I normally wear. Other than the size discrepancy, the shoe is pretty good. The leather is not too rough, but doesn't give too much. The comfort level is about average (a little better), but the sole is terrible in slippery conditions (snow, heavy rain). I like the basic look of the shoe, which as a classic matches with just about every suit/pants I own. The front shape is not too square or too rounded so it is a nice balance in between. One thing I would recommend is to purchase a new pair of better and shorter laces.

I've dealt with several via phone doing some shoe shopping, and they're always, always, always cheerful and they personalize the conversation. Your staff seems to enjoy their work and makes shopping online/exchanging via phone a breeze. The VIP overnight shipping is great too, but I could do without that as long as your staff continued their positive, personal service to customers.
