When my Briggs I (my all-time favorite shoes) finally started to wear out, I tried several other styles of Keens, but they all seemed to slip in the heel. I tried the Briggs II as a last resort and I love them. They seemed a little stiff at first (although that could just be in comparison to my very well broken-in Briggs I's), but they are breaking in nicely. As with all the Keens I have owned or tried on, these run 1/2 size small.

The shoes are great. The price was good for leather shoes and they are very comfortable. I have bought Keen shoes before and have always been very pleased. I am a Zappos fan. I tell everyone about Zappos as soon as they mention buying shoes. I am amazed that few people have heard of them and fewer have ordered from Zappos. I have always had excellent service, especially on returns, no questions asked. My fault, your fault, nobody's fault it doesn't matter. The free overnight shipping is phenomenal. I have ordered shoes before noon one day and had them in less than 24 hours. I'm a loyal Zappos shopper.

I found the Keen Briggs II to be very comfortable right out of the box. I have to look for shoes for a wider toe box to accomodate my bunions. These shoes were perfect. They are a very casual shoe like upgraded sneakers. These are the shoes to purchase if you need a wide toe box and good arch support.

Wow, if you stand in one spot all day, have I found a shoe for you. It has really helped with the pain in my feet. I was changing shoes every two weeks trying to get relief, but nothing worked, 'til now. In fact, bought another pair just to have them on hand. Thank you Keen. I can walk after a ten hour day!

I purchased the Keen Briggs II right after having foot surgery for tarsal tunnel. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. No inserts needed! The laces offer me the compression I need as my job keeps me walking 12 hours+ per day. I really enjoy the extra toe room they provide and the slip resistant soles. They even look great with my dress pants. I did have to return my first pair as the top rubber piece on the toes came unstitched. Zappos took care of me that same day! No challenges since. Love these shoes!

Very comfortable. Good for thick socks, plenty of toe room. Laces do not need to be double knotted to stay tied; we shall see in time. I intend to use these as winter shoes/boots. The color I have is reddish brown, and goes well with everything. I am happy with Keen brand overall; I have about 5 pairs.

Nice shoe. The brown on brown color is subtle but stylish. All day comfort. My only complaint is they are not waterproof. They have a nice rugged look without being overly clunky. Nice shoe.

These Keen\'s are perfect for fall\'s cool, wet weather here in the midwest. I wear them with jeans and they have fantastic traction. The shoe itself is very comfortable with excellent support. They accommodate the orthotics I wear just fine.

Got these shoes last week, and they are great. Right out of the box I could walk all day. Took them to Gatlinburg walked for 4 days. Great shoe, I would for sure buy this shoe again. I did take the advice of the other reviewers and bought 1/2 size larger.

Love these shoes. Keep in mind I have a wide foot and wear an 10 1/2 - 11 size shoe. They have nice arch support, good traction, and plenty of toe room. They are a little chunky, so they are looking their best when worn with a wider leg pant. I stand all day and they have been great. Comfy for walking around the city as well.

This is my third pair in this style (my first ever pair of Keens was the Bronx, which evolved into the Briggs), and they are the most comfortable shoes ever! Extremely supportive; great for walking and standing for long periods of time (I stand a lot in my work, sometimes on hard concrete and pavement). I had a tiny issue during the first few days; one of the seams was rubbing the top of my foot, but it went away. I've been wearing them almost every day since I got them and my feet are very happy.

I like the shoes, but they aren\'t as comfortable as the Presidio, which is what I was hoping for. They are super sturdy and I like the way they look, but they feel super sturdy as opposed to comfy. True to size (10.5 for me). Good arch support, which is what I love about Keen\'s. These will be good work shoes, but not walk around all day shoes.

My wife and I have found Zappos selections, availability, and service, nearly immediate deliveries, and return policies exemplary. We recently ordered shoes as a gift for my daughter. She was astounded to receive her precisely specified product 36 hours after our conversation.

Keen\'s Briggs II has Keen-Cush Footbed which noticeably compresses with weight. It has a lot of cushion but does not give me enough arch support compared to Briggs, the previous design of this shoe. Because of the lack of support my feet extend in length and the shoe is not quite long enough, although a 1/2 size larger would probably be too big for me. I returned the shoes and scrambled to find a pair of Briggs in my size. I think it\'s a nice looking shoe in black, nice and roomy width-wise, but I need arch support similar to Birkenstock.

Love them. Took \'em for an indoor test-drive the day they arrived & felt comfortable enough to hike 4 miles to work & spend 8 hrs on my feet. Came home without a single blister or sore spot - very rare in my experience! Felt true to size (I like \'em wider in the toe) & the non-slip soles worked very well. Good walking/working shoes are hard to come by - if they still feel this good in a month, I\'ll buy another pair, maybe two.

Lots of Support & Comfort -
These shoes feel good. I compared these and the Presidio at the same time and the Briggs have thicker sole than the Presidio and a little more arch support. This is my second pair of Briggs. I bought my first pair just before a 3 week walking tour of Spain and they were great. Not a lot of break in time was needed and very comfortable on cobblestone streets. They only lasted me about a year after that trip and that is pretty fast for me. They looked fine on the outside and the soles were good but the interior support just broke down. I hope these will hold up a little longer, but I will wear them nearly every day. Keens still are the most comfortable shoe for my feet, but not all Keens are equal. Thanks Zappos for fast service.

I highly recommend these shoes. I walk a lot at work and these shoes are comfortable from the time I put them on until I arrive home 15 hours later. There is a bit of breaking in required, but overall they are excellent.
