I purchased this shoe for my 14 year old daughter, who saw a friend wear it. The shoe came already laced, thank goodness, as there are many holes and the shoe strings are no doubt several yards long. The strings are elastic, so they remain tied and the young lady opts to slip the shoes on and off. She wears them daily to school, and they have become her favorite pair. They do run a bit large, but she doesn\'t seem to mind.

These shoes look great. You should get about 1/2 a size smaller than you normally wear as is recommended on the site and if you have wide feet you might have trouble. They are a bit on the narrow side, but once I wore them 3-4 times, they feel great. Very happy with the purchase.

This is a good shoe. I purchased a grey pair. One thing that I didn't realize is that the shoe comes with both grey and black laces. I think the black look much better in them, but that's just me. One word of caution: because of the nature of the laces this shoe fits a bit more snug than most other pairs of Chucks that I own. Not that big of a deal and I think they are loosening a bit.

These Chucks with elastic laces fit my female feet much better than the regular slip-on Chucks, which were too loose. I don't have narrow feet but these are unisex. The elastic laces provide a nice snug fit. These were also better padded than the regular slip-on Chucks. I am a true 7.5 womens and I ordered the 5 in these and they were just right. In the 4.5s my big toe rubbed ever so slightly against the inside. Overall more comfy and stylish than I expected!
