Can't say enough about these shoes and how comfortable they are all day long. It's hard to find a "hip-looking" tie shoe that's also comfortable but SoftWalk hit the mark with the Madrid. I have "feet issues" as so many of us do and have been desperately searching for a shoe that I can wear all day and that looks nice with casual (not necessarily jeans either) clothes. I especially like that the lacing section of the shoe doesn't come up too close to the ankle causing discomfort. It also has just enough of a wedge in the heel so you're not completely flat and the heel section is padded also. The contrast striping adds to the visual appeal. I bought these in brown and liked them so well I bought the black, too. They "ain't cheap", but a shoe that feels this good right out of the box is worth the money. They tend to run wide so if you think you need a WW and they don't have it, go with the regular wide. I did and they are plenty wide.

Very nice shoe. I always wear a narrow; however, narrow in this style was too narrow, so I ordered Medium. Nice color, well-made, flattering, and very comfortable. Good support.
