I love these boots. They are true to size. I read the reviews about them being 1/2 of inch bigger than normal and ordered the 8.5 instead of the 9. I am so sorry I did that, because they are now looking at me looking beautiful and I have got to wait and do an exchange. Can't wait to get the right size.

Beautiful boots! I just got those boots today and absolutely am in love with them! I accidentally ordered them in 6,5 even though I'm 7 and they fit perfectly; I even have a little room so I'd have to say they run half a size larger. I'm 5'2'' and they make my legs look very long and they also fit perfectly on my calves and it's very hard for me to find calf-fitted boots. They do look a little bulky, but that's the rock-chic style. The leather does feel a little stiff, but I think it'll soften up with time. They do feel comfy, but I still haven't worn them outside. When people say they look cheap, well, they are cheap, but still good-looking and comfortable shoes. For this money you get what you pay for. So don't expect nothing extraordinary. If you want amazing looking shoes you have to be ready to spend at least $800. I am not ready to do that this year, so I am sticking with cheaper that are still good boots.

Buy these boots! They are as comfortable as heels can be, very well made and look great! I love the light color, as it's almost impossible to find shoes to go with winter white. Best shoe buy in a long time!

These boots deserve way more than 1 star! I am a petite woman who has been hunting for platform, knee high boots for years. All the other boots I ordered were way too wide in the ankle and calf area. They all looked messy and sloppy. These fit nicely and I still have room to tuck in jeans. The leather on the footbed of the boot is of decent quality. The leather on the shaft is a bit thin and stiff; however, it makes for a sleeker fit and look. They appear to be well made and are very comfortable. I will say they seem to run 1/2 a size larger. I had to re-order in a 1/2 smaller (sorry ladies, I got the last 6.5 in stock), but am so excited to have found the perfect platform boot after years of searching and returning all the others. I have a pair of Stuart Weitzman boots and I have to say, these are just as comfy, if not more so. Great buy for the fashionista with a smaller frame!

Looks very cheap -
I love Carlos Santana shoes and I was surprised at the poor quality of this boot, the leather is very stiff and cheap looking. And while I love a platform shoe, 1 inch looks a bit Frankensteinish! As for Zappos, i loved the free return but it has been over a week since my return was received and they still havent credited my card!

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
