These shoes are awesome for work and play! Not as comfortable as my Merrell Encore Chills (which I have 3 pairs), but close, especially for a a cute/work shoe. I walk pretty far for work, but have to dress up so these shoes worked out.

I really like the look of this shoe, but I bought Merrell because of their reputation for comfort. This is a really uncomfortable shoe, for my foot at least.

For comfort, these shoes rate a 10 out of 10. I'm in sales, and I'm on my feet all day. I have a real struggle with attractive shoes that let me do my job without wanting to chop my feet off at the end of the day. These are the ticket! They're also true to size for me, so that was a big bonus.

These shoes are really cute, but they were really tight. I usually wear an 8 in these type of shoes, and I could barely get the 8.5 on my foot. The ruffles on the strap don’t look too bad online, but in person they were too girly.

These shoes are attractive and comfortable. One thing, and it could possibly be my feet, I wore them once and they appear to look as if I've had them for a while. I will figure something out. I like them overall.

I just bought these shoes in brown and really love them. They are comfortable right out of the box and are really, really cute. I am a fan of Merrell shoes and in most of the sandals have had to size down to with those for a good fit with those. My usual size is 8 and after reading the reviews I went ahead and ordered 8 and they fit perfectly. I am not only happy with the shoes, but with the wonderful Zappos service. I placed my order at about 10 p.m. EST and my Petunias arrived by 6 p.m. the following day. You just can\'t ask for better than that. Many thanks to Zappos and to Merrell for some excellent shoes.

I bought these in hopes of blending style with comfort because I have a long walk from a parking lot to my office. I love the way they look, but they are absolutely uncomfortable. Just yesterday, I walked to my office in athletic shoes and put on my Merrell Petunias to walk around the office. I kept taking them off under my desk throughout the day. They squeeze my toes, but slip off the back of my heel at the same time. I do not recommend these shoes, no matter how cute they look.

This shoe is the perfect *compromise* between style, comfort and function. My job requires that I wear a closed-toe, stable shoe in a lab setting, and I must be able to go from the lab to meetings where looking nice is important. This shoe looks great with business casual pants, jeans, etc and so it really fits the bill as my go-to work shoe. It is not the best shoe to walk around a city in all day, for example, nor is the cutest shoe ever, it is a perfect compromise!! My feet do get tired from too much walking in this shoe, but that is not what I got this shoe for. It is very comfortable for a day of walking back and forth between buildings, labs, etc with some sitting around at the desk, meetings, etc. I highly recommend this shoe.

Bought these in the brown suede and love them. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 and the 7.5 fit well. The shoes are very comfortable and the band is placed perfectly for my foot. Would like a little more support on the arch (but I have a pretty high arch). Ordering the black today.

I bought these shoes because I wanted something stylish, but I work in a warehouse setting so I needed something comfortable because I'm on my feet all day. I absolutely loved them. I can wear them all day and I'm comfortable. Usually when you have a heel of this size, on concrete floor your feet will hurt. However, I felt no pain with these shoes. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to combine comfort with a little style!

I spend all day on my feet for work, and I've tried a lot of "comfortable", but professional looking shoes. Most have failed either in comfort when standing or comfort when walking. I've basically been living in my Merrell Plaza Bandeaus for the last 2 years, and they're holding up really well. But I wanted something with a taller heel, so I got these Petunias. They're pretty cute (maybe a little cutesy with the frill on the band), and so far they're fitting the bill. They don't rub on the heel, they offer good support and good traction, and they leave enough room in the toe for when my feet inevitably swell at the end of the day. The only small complaint is that my toes feel some pressure if I've been walking a lot, but for this heel height it's so minimal.

Oh, that strap! The look of this shoe is pretty much what I expected, though be aware that the front is very rounded. The heel is a good shock absorber. However, that strap for the Mary Jane just imbedded into my foot, and ouch! Also, not that much arch support (I have very flat feet).

These are my first pair of Merrells. They were a little snug in the toe area at first, but I do have wide feet (I got medium width.) The footfall is very soft - not at all jarring. I was concerned that the wedge heel might feel kind of wobbly but it doesn't. These shoes are great - comfortable without being frumpy.

These shoes are very comfortable and required just a little break in. I always wear 9 1/2 in Merrels and have a wide foot so I needed size 10 in these. I do not wear heels so I am grateful I found a shoe with height and cushion.

I've had these shoes for several months and I'm still not sure if I'd recommend them. They should be more comfortable than they are. I put a gel insole in and I still don't feel like they're that comfy. I wouldn't recommend them for tons of walking - I bought them in the hopes of taking them on my Europe trip this year. They're okay to look at. The strap is really cute, but the toe looks a little like a work shoe. Overall, I like them enough to wear them for shopping and errands, but I probably wouldn't buy them again.

I love my Petunias.
I love my Merrell Petunias!! So comfortable and so cute! I can wear with skirts or pants. I love the rounded toe. I usually wear flat shoes so this is a pleasant surprise in comfort for a heeled shoe. I will buy another color. Thank you Merrell.

Comfortable enough, would have liked more arch support. There is a lot of shock absorption in the heel. Cute work shoe. Stable wedge heel. Order half size bigger than normal, it seems to run a little small.

Very comfortable!
I stand all day and have to conform to a business casual dress code. I have wide feet and a high arch which meant I was basically limited to flats. That being said, these are by far the most comfortable heeled shoes that I've been able to find! Not only can I stand in them all day, but they're comfortable to walk around in. They do appear a bit "chunky" with the visible tread and the frill seems juvenile, however, overall I am very pleased with this shoe.

I bought these shoes for a trip, and I will be walking a lot. I wanted something that would look good with anything. These are it! They go well with skirts, dresses and pants. They have been comfortable since the first time I put them on. I would recommend a 1/2 size smaller, unless you wear bulky socks.

Great shoe -
Love them! Great traction on slippery surfaces. Very comfortable; limited break in time (some rubbing until leather softened). I think they are narrower than normal merrells which is great, because I have found other merrells too wide; the mary jane strap may help. Also have the plaza bandeau and love. Love the taller heal on the petunia.

Not comfortable for walking a lot -
These are cute, but once I wore them any distance they were not comfortable. I have several Merrell shoes and all are comfortable, except these. Very disappointed in a great brand of shoes.

These shoes are super nice--received many compliments on them. They seem to run large, so I ordered a half size smaller and they fit perfectly. The teal color together with this pattern is really lovely. Considering the heel height, they are comfortable enough to dance and mingle, although after a while they pinch a little bit. All in all, I'm glad I purchased them!

Toe is a little round for my taste -
I was looking for a shoe I could walk in all day, yet dressier than sneakers. This shoe is comfortable and I'm hoping great to walk in, but the toe is a bit too rounded for me in appearance. I kept them for the walking part though - they still looked ok with jeans, just not a pretty as a more pointed toe.

I think I could walk all day in these shoes and they wouldn't hurt my feet. It will take a couple of times of wear to "break them in" around your ankles and I wouldn't wear them for the first couple of times if you were going to be on your feet all day, but once they get broken in, they are very, very comfortable.
