Love this shoe - I ordered it in two colors! Not only is it stylish, it’s extremely comfortable and a great alternative to sandals. Very orthotic friendly, running true to size. I wouldn’t hesitate to order Rieker shoes in the future. Zappos service and delivery was outstanding - keep up the good work!

Bad feet - good shoe -
Unfortunately, I have very sensitive feet because of hammer toes and bunions. Sounds awful, but true. The Rieker Doris has enough give on the sides and enough room in the toe box to accommodate my tender feet. Very comfortable and good looking and well made.

Just started to wear the Rieker Doris for spring. I love its sandal look, but I appreciate the closed toe and heel details. Comfy right out of the box, even after a day-long wearing. I purchased the shoe for summer travel and know it will fit the bill. I knew from reviews it would run a bit narrow, which is perfect for me.

Great shoe for support, fit, and comfort. I used to where a 10.5 in Reebok, but this shoe I needed a 10. Reebok has hit a homerun with this shoe.

Another Rieker Favorite -
I'm a fan of Rieker shoes and, while these aren't the most comfortable among them, they're pretty good. They'll take me into fall. My shipment arrived almost before I signed off the computer that day!

Eeek! Became way too tight! This shoe almost ruined my honeymoon. The strap was too loose and the shoe became really tight in the hot afternoons in Italy. I ended up taking a train to a small town to find other shoes after these just killed my feet when walking around all day. They are also very narrow.

Great shoes!
These shoes are comfortable and they don't hurt my lower back. They are similar to wearing tennis shoes but look much better! I have received several compliments on them.

These shoes are feather light and incredibly comfortable. I have a narrow heel and average toe, yet the medium fits fine and the ankle strap keeps everything snug. Even in a 9 1/2, this shoe has a sleek, flattering look. I can wear it with skirts and slacks. I teach high school, and I can wear it all day in comfort. Somehow the lightweight heel absorbs shock, and is therefore easy on my lower back. This is truly the best pair of shoes I've found in years. I wanted to buy it in black too, but I don't see that it comes in that color.

This shoe caught my eye when I was shopping for a slightly dressier look than most casual/comfy shoes and the butterscotch-type color appealed to me as well. I noted on the other reviews that the strap was overly long, but since I have a high instep, I thought it might be just right. Unfortunately, the strap is indeed too long, and I don't want to go to the trouble and expense of having the strap shortened, though I would consider it if the price came down to reflect the strap issue. I will be returning this shoe. The style is cute and not clunky, and the heel is just the right height to make you feel a bit more spiffy. Other than the strap length, I feel that the quality of construction is fine. I would prefer a bit more cushioning.

Disappointed -
I own many pairs of Riekers but for some reason these don't fit well. I bought a size 39, my usual. They were too tight. I returned them and got a size 40. The fit was too large. I gave up and kept them, hoping that with orthodics I could get a better fit.

Velcro strap & vinyl-looking leather -
Was really surprised & very disappointed at the color of the leather. Everyone agrees it doesn't look like leather at all, more like vinyl! Also, the strap is too long and there's no buckle, just velcro. I'm wondering if a cobbler can put a buckle on them...

A Good Spring Sandal -
I'm happy with this shoe. It felt comfortable the moment I put it on my feet right out of the box. The first day I wore it, it was almost 90degrees in Boston and I wore the shoe with a casual skirt to go out for a "ladies lunch" with friends in Cambridge. I was comfortable walking on the cobblestone walks. My one criticism is that the shoe is warm. I think that the cushy insole doesn't breathe very well. I'll wear it in spring and fall and will put it away for the summer.

Great shoe but the strap is too long -
I love the look of these shoes. Exactly what I was trying to find. The first day I wore them I thought I would get blisters. There was a little bit of rubbing in a couple of places. But either my feet got used to them or the shoes got used to my feet, because they've gotten much more comfortable. My only complaint is the strap. It's much too long!

Great Looking Shoe -
I've received numerous compliments on this shoe. Most of them commented that they liked the ankle strap.
They did tend to rub a bit on the sides in front, but the leather will stretch so I'm not worried about it.

A very well-made, comfortable, good-looking shoe. My only complaint is that they were a little cheap with the velcro, so if you have a small foot and have to pull the strap tight, there's barely enough overlap between the top and bottom velcro strips (1/4" in my case) to hold the shoe on your foot.

Incredible Shoes -

 |  | I just wanted to thank you for being so wonderful. Last week I ordered a pair of shoes but when I got them home the color didn't match so I needed to return them. What I didn't realize was that when I shipped them back to you, my cell phone charger was also in the box. The last couple of days I have been going crazy looking for it. But to my surprise it showed up today. My UPS driver just dropped off a tiny Zappos box. As I opened the box knowing that I hadn't ordered anything, I was amazed and grateful to find the charger in there.
