These shoes arrived on time and I love them! I take a size 9.5 and ordered this shoe in a size 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I plan on doing more business at Zappos.

I have Bostonian shoes and also experienced the squeaking. I rubbed in saddle soap a few times and let it set before wiping off. This stopped the squeaking.

The shoes were fantastic! My husband knew what he wanted and knew the fit would be correct, the price was better than what we found in local stores including discount stores. He was also able to find the size and color that he needed, which was not available at the stores here. The shoes arrived within two days, and were exactly what he had expected. It was an great experience!

I ordered these shoes for my son. As a size 14 wearer, I have a lot of trouble finding shoes for him but was able to find these with no problem. They are excellent and stylish and he's very happy with them. The service was fantastic! I ordered them on a Tuesday and received them a day later. I highly recommend!

Great Shoe -
This is a very comfortable and classy shoe that is perfect for work. The only problem I have experienced is that they started creaking/squeeking after a few months and I can't figure out where it comes from and can't get it to stop. I sound like the Tin Man that needs oil when I walk. If you can get past that one flaw, then these will be great shoes for you.

Great value! Have owned many pairs of this shoe many years ago when Bostonian was in its prime. Haven't seen this style in years, and it has been somewhat value engineered (i.e. leather is nice, but not quite what it once was, also now made overseas, for whatever that is worth). Sizing was right on the money. One important note: I ordered both the black and burgundy version. The burgundy one arrived with a full leather sole. The black one came with a synthetic sole that is not nearly as comfortable and had less flexibility out of the box.

I am a banker and I'm on my feet standing or walking all day every day. This shoe is very comfortable and never requires being 'broken in' ...it feels like I've been wearing them for a month when I put them on the first day. It is also an attractive shoe and it looks very professional.

Sharp shoe, but definitely the width was different from a previous pair of Bostonian slip ons I bought from Zappos almost a year ago. In fact, I thought it was me (swollen foot). But I happened to notice that these were definitely narrower in appearance than the Danvers even though they were the same size and width. I measured the width of the soles of both shoes. Sure enough, the Evanston's were at least 1/4" smaller in width than the Danvers. Maybe Bostonian is trimming the size of its shoes and trying to keep its prices low all the while why stating that the shoe is a true 15 EE (as it was in my case).

Killer shoes!
My husband has wide feet and black slip ons have been impossible to find locally. Not certain which size was best so since free return shipping, I ordered both possible sizes and they were very true to size for him. They are really nice looking dress shoes and I am excited to have found them. This will be the first of many purchases here I think!

Leather -
The leather seems very thin compared to previous Bostonians that I have worn. The fit and feel of the shoes are not very good as they have been broken in caused by the lower quality of the leather

Bostonians look great but don't fit quite as well -
I found a previous reviewer to be correct when stating that the sizing in the W group is actually wider than most other shoes with the same size rating. However, I have one foot larger than the other so the shoe size (14W) I got fits one foot well but a little loose but slips in the back on the more normal-sized foot.

Great Shoes!
Came out of the box ready to wear comfortably all day. A very good fit and a sharp looking shoe for business. Slips on the foot easily without the need for a spoon, so they're great for going through airport security. I'll buy another pair whenever I need them in a different color.

I had to return this shoe because they wore out rather quick. I re-ordered them because I thought I would give the shoe another chance but it was my mistake...they are not worth the price.

Sharp loafer, but watch sizing -
This is a fabulously good looking shoe. It has a classic look, with a great luster. Little light on the support, but none the less comfortable all day. I am a CEO in a hospital, and these shoes really dress up even the most casual sport coat. One word of caution - these run much narrower than I would expect. But the wides are VERY wide. I wear a solid 11.5 E in Rockports, Bostonians, and Clarks, but needed a 12 std (which is still a little snug). I tried the 11.5 wide and the 11 wide - both were boats and the heel popped loose with each step. So make sure you order a few sizes to try on.

Just FYI. The black leather is a little more flexible and therefore more comfortable than the burgundy. Still - great shoes.

What a fab boot!!! A must have!!! As soon as I put these boots on, it was love a first sight. They are all I want in a boot and will look awesome with every outfit. I ordered my size 8.5 and they did feel a little big in the heel so I slipped in some inserts and now they fit great! The toe area is a little snug but I know the boot still needs to be broken in. These boots are quality so don't feel torn by the price, they are so worth every penny.

Dressy, comfortable, good price - Love this shoe! This is my second pair. Wore out the soles on the first pair. It takes me a while to find a style I like, but this shoe was it. Looks great when wearing a suit or even business casual.

I bought these for my father for Father's Day. He loves them!!! They look absolutely perfect! He said they are his favorite shoes and he actually has some real Italian leather shoes from Italy. I went down a 1/2 size from the regular size I buy and they still feel a little loose. I have never worn a slip on type shoe. All of my other dress shoes have had laces. You may want to try on a pair at a store before ordering. I love the shoes and the service from Zappos.com was unbelievable! Thank You!

I usually get my orders the next day, and the longest it's taken has only been two days, and I think that's just awesome! At my job I work in customer service and think it's very important to like to help people in a job like that. I can tell Zappos employees must love their jobs because everyone does such great job.
