My son says he loves the way these shoes feel. He wore them all over an amusement park with no problems at all. He likes that the shoes come up a little bit on his ankles without being "high tops." Be aware: these shoes run about a size larger than other brands.

Great looking but not durable -
My five year old son loves these shoes and wears them almost every day. Unfortunately, after only two months the shoe has started falling apart, there are multiple holes and the white band around the base of the shoe has started pulling away from the fabric. My son finds the shoes very comfortable and loves the way they look; I just wish they held up better.

This shoe is so cool. It looks great with jeans, khakis, and cords. My son gets lots of compliments.

Rock the Old Skool with style!
My son loved this sneaker!! They do run big, at least on my son and were a little wider than expected but that is because my son has really narrow feet. They look awesome with anything and since he is a skater boy well, it fits right into his style. Zappos sent them next day and just in time before his vacation. I highly recommend them.

Overall a good stylish shoe -
The only flaw I've found with these shoes thus far is that the shoelaces are a bit thin, so they are starting to fray after just having been used for a month. Otherwise, the look and comfort of the shoe is great. My 5 year-old really seems to like wearing them.

Very happy -
We have been buying Old Skool's for our son since he was able to walk. They have never failed us and he loves them. All Old Skool's are a little bigger than regular sizes but we knew that.

Kickin it old school -
Not bad shoes... Great for summer and for kids who like to wear xtra low socks. My only complaint is that my son tends to trip a lot wearing these shoes and scuffs up the front. I wore these as a kid and loved them! Thanks Zappos for passing the tradition on.

Too big -
My son has wide feet, so I normally buy him Vans because they tend to run wide. Even though I had my son's foot sized, these particular sneakers are too big for my son.

This has been a great shoe so far. Nice material and a great fit. They look sharp. They were a good price and shopping Zappos is fun and faster than going to the mall.

These retro skate sneaks are very fun and well-made. My 3.5 yr-old is very much looking forward to learning how to use a skateboard when he is a big boy, so he is feeling pretty cool about all that, and these skate sneaks are just the ticket. Although he wears a 12 (toddler) in other brands of shoe, these are still too big, so we are keeping them in the closet until spring when they are likely to actually fit. I would say they run ½ to one full size larger than marked.

Vans Skateboard Shoes -
I was visiting my grandson in Seattle when he announced that he would like some skateboarding shoes. Since I live in Louisville not too far from the Zappos Outlet Store, I went immediately to their website. We found exactly what my grandson wanted and we ordered them at 3pm pacific time on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Even with free overnight shipping I thought the shoes would arrive on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. On Wednesday, just the day after we ordered the shoes, Benjamin woke and the first words out of his mouth were, "Are my shoes here yet?" I explained that because of the Thanksgiving holiday the shoes would probably arrive on Friday. In the next few minutes, he said, "The truck is here! The truck is here!" We went to the door and, sure enough, there was the UPS truck delivering his shoes at 10am Wednesday, just 17 hours after we had placed the order with Zappos! You all are wonderful! Many thanks.

I love these shoes. I had them when I was 13 (I'm 27 now). They are super comfortable. I would say they run a little big. I'm usually a size 3.5 in boys, but I got these in a 3 and they fit, but on the roomy side.

My son loves his Vans!
My 4 year old loves his new Vans! He has the blue/white Old Skools and they are well made with great traction - perfect for play. I was a bit worried at first he'd catch the sole of the shoe on the ground and trip because the sole is somewhat thicker than his other pair of Vans, but it hasn't been an issue at all.

I bought the flame style (not the one pictured) for my tomboy 10 year old daughter. She loves them and wears them everyday! They have lots of padding- so good for running and jumping. They have a great fun look!

These are great!
My son was a bit leary about the Vans Kids's Old Skool shoes. We have been loyal wearers of Vans shoes and he usually wears the "wider skater" shoes that Vans makes. Vans Kids' Old School -
This shoe looks and feels great. We just ordered our second pair in a row of this same shoe because my son loves it so much. One nice feature of this shoe is that dirt seems to just brush right off. It is very easy to clean. The only problem I have found is that it seems to wear out (holes in canvas, etc.) faster than any other shoe I have ever bought him. Other than that I would highly recommend it.
