Tried this model after several years of GTS 5, 6 & 7, which are great but somewhat heavy shoes. The Ghost 2 is a fantastic training shoe for fast paced workouts! Feels a bit less cushioned, but adequate for shorter runs. The same great fit as other Brooks models, but with a more minimalist upper.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Have not found another brand the equal of Brooks in fit or quality,

Ghost 2 throw you back on your foot which I really like. They are my second pair and really work well for me on both asphalt and trail runs; typically log 30 mi/wk. They breathe well and offer a large enough "toe box". I do think they are ugly looking though. To be called a ghost and painted yellow?

An alternate to my Pearl Izumi Surge's, excellent in all ways, feel of the road without any loss of cushioning. Fits great with my full length orthotics, keeps your already corrected foot neutral and comforted.
