The Rockport Bertilda is the perfect semi-casual slide! Going somewhere too fancy for flip-flops, but too casual for dress heels or wedges? This slide is perfect! The leather upper is soft and supple. There is a piece of elastic stitched into the side to create a giving top. The suspension featured in the footbed is like walking on a cloud. I was amazed how supportive and soft these shoes are. They are my favorite slide. I almost bought two pairs, but only one was available in my size. The leather has a little bit of sheen. The knotted front is almost like a bow, but more sophisticated and less "cutesy". I would highly recommend this shoe to someone looking to find a strong, classic slide that will last. Usually I don't spend this kind of money on shoes, but as I get older (28 years old) I am looking for quality. This is a beautiful shoe.

I have never once had a bad experience with Zappos.com and have found even returning a product is pain-free. Many people find buying shoes online to be a process that is a hassle based on shipping costs and not getting a chance to see the shoe actually on their foot, but you have done a tremendous job not only making shipping easy, and FREE, but also providing a number of angles for a shoe online so it can best be represented without physically holding it. I have purchased numerous shoes, sandals and boots from Zappos over the years and have never once been disappointed. Most recently, I was upgraded to expedited shipping for free on my most recent purchase, which again pointed out why I love Zappos so much! My educational background is a degree in marketing as well as an MBA focused in strategic management, which makes me extra critical of things like customer service as well as other business functions. Zappos always comes up as my example of companies who are doing things right and charting their own path to success. I recommend your site to people all the time and hopefully they will experience the delight I have come to know as 'the norm' when dealing with Zappos. Thank you to everybody there for their hard work, dedication and emphasis on the customer. It is not going unrecognized and you have me hooked for life!
