Very comfortable after the first wearing. They look sleek and are not at all clunky as well as light weight and have a good tread.

This shoe looks just like the photo. It really is more brown than grey! Taupe. I did have to exchange for a half size bigger. I already have two pairs of Privos, one is Joba, in size 6.5, and I like the way the squarish toe-box fits the shape of my feet. Batten has a more tapered toe-box. They are different but still comfortable; I just needed a size 7.

Comfortable, but what about the squeak? I have two pairs of these shoes and they are incredibly comfortable, but they started to squeak after a couple of months. Anyone know how to fix this? Talcum powder hasn't worked.

I have wide feet and skinny heels, so this was the 5th or 6th pair of shoes I tried. They are very comfy overall, a tad snug around the toe box, but they seem like they will stretch. I definitely wear them with a thin sock as they get a little sticky on bare feet. Really cute with jeans and easy to slip on and off.

These shoes are sensational. They are comfortable and sharp looking. Truly, I have had many compliments on them, even from strangers. I wear them all the time. They are a bit narrow and I ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual and they are fine. With the cold weather coming, I don't know how they will be with socks. But I won't part with them, no matter. Zappos, a pleasure doing business with you, always.

This is the first shoe, by Clark, I have had a problem with. It is running small, also has a bad place where stitching rubs badly. I gave it to my daughter, who wears a smaller size, and she had the same problem. I have two pair of Sofrito and they are an amazing fit.

Very cute shoe! This is my third pair of Privos and I love them for casual wear. Goes great with jeans and love the convenience of slip on shoes. This particular pair runs narrower than my other pairs, which is fine for me since I have a narrow foot, but might be an issue for those with wider feet.

I bought this shoe from Zappos after seeing it in a catalog; the Zappos price was slightly lower and the shipping was free, so I definitely came out ahead! I purchased the brown-on-brown color and like that it's more of a grey-brown color, as they seem to go with more of the clothing that I own. The shoes are comfortable, but somewhat narrow in the forefoot/toe area. It's not cramped, but it is snug. There is not really any arch support in the shoe either, so if you need this, you may need an insert of some kind. I've worn these shoes all day several times and have been pleased that they are still comfortable after several hours of wear.

These are perfect with jeans when you want something more stylish than lace up tennis shoes. Easy on/off is convenient for me since I always remove my shoes when in the house. No fussing with laces if I make a quick trip to the garden or the mailbox. Seem to run slightly big, but not uncomfortably so. Much lighter on the foot than a tennis shoe, but lack the padding on the sole that makes tennis shoes so comfortable for sightseeing and all day shopping trips.

Best customer service I've ever had. I purchased a brand shoe that I've worn before. They were delivered in record time, no shipping charges. For whatever reason, the shoes were too snug so I called to find out how to return. The customer service rep was polite, helpful and actually arranged to ship the correct size that same day, again, no shipping charge. Now, when have you ever had that kind of customer service? I know, NEVER. Keep it up Zappos and I'll keep coming back to you.

First of all, I love Clark shoes! The Batten shoes are great - the fit is perfect, and they are one of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I also want to thank Zappos for their wonderful service. I received my order the next day! Thanks for everything!

These shoes are definitely tight across the toe box. I do have a bit wider foot but usually no trouble with regular wide shoes. It hurt even to wear socks. The comfort of the shoe besides that is exceptional. I would recommend these shoes to others, but I wish they perhaps came in the wider size. I know other reviews mentioned something similar.
