I am currently on a drilling rig offshore Saudi Arabia, I have not seen the converse steel toe shoes yet, although I can tell you that Nautilus and the Works by Red Wing are both excellent work shoes; they are very comfortable and easy to get on and off, only problem with these shoes is you can't wade very deep mud or water. That's why I have two pair, three now. I let one dry out and wear the others. You can't beat these shoes for working on a steel, muddy, greasy, slippery deck. Very tough and good traction, I'll order some more as soon as I can wear these out. Thanks.

Got these a few weeks ago. They fit fine and look nice. They are quite comfortable for lounging, standing or walking. Don't run in them without an insole. The outside scuffs kind of easily, but I expected that. I forget there is a steel toe in there sometimes.

Converse were alway my first expensive pair of sneakers and were a solid value back in the 70\'s. These shoes were a good fit, however on my initial use the top heel cushion became displaced. I also bought another brand that was from another company and they were solid. If I could have done something diffrent it would have been to select a darker color.

 |  | Zappos, you are amazing! Can you please explain to me how you can make shoes arrive on my doorstep 12 hours after I order them? I placed my order at 10 pm, and by 10 the next morning I got an email saying the box was on my porch. Even my daughter was impressed, because she knows that when you order things ‘on the computer’ they generally take ‘forever’ to get here. We are mystified but very grateful!
