Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support
Great shoe. I have other Salomon's. I made the mistake of ordering a half size too big; unlike other running shoes, these are true to your normal shoe size. Don't size up.

I have both the gortex lined and regular wings and love them. Used the gortex lined pair all winter on snow and ice and down to -10F. Kept my feet toasty and the traction is great on both pairs.

This shoe is a great running shoe - Off Road Mainly for me. I liked the shoes itself and probably would have kept it if the toes portion wasn't as stiff as it was on me. I have flat feet with little arch support and these felt a bit snug for me in the 8.0 (which 8.5 is my usual size). The size 8.5s were yet too big... so I had to return them. I think these would work great on a woman with a narrow to medium foot. The cushion was nice as well.

 |  | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the “dig deeper” sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness.
