Really cute and comfortable! You can definitely tell the difference between Eccos and cheap shoes. I usually hate heels, but these have a bit of extra padding in the ball of the shoe to make them more comfortable. I can't walk for miles in them, but they lasted an interview with no issues. My only complaint is the lack of arch support. I'm searching for some insoles to help out with that.

Made my feet sweat a lot. I owed other Eccos and I have always been happy. This time though this shoe made my feet so sweaty and hot that they were swelling. The shoe that I thought was initially comfortable became very uncomfortable after a couple of hours. I tried it for 3 days to give it a fair try, but did not work out at all. The shoe also made my feel smelly (a first as I don't usually have this problem) and made a squeaky sound. I returned it. Looks are okay to good. I like that it has a rounded tip, but it was a little too rounded.

 | | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the dig deeper sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness. Rock over London, rock on Chicago. | | ~ Zachary S., November 07 2009
