The Desert Trek shoes you should make the one's with out the line in middle and with sheep skin inside the desert trek like a boot a short desert boot it was called before just like wallabies with sheep skin in the 70 and 80's they use to have them you would sell alot of them i didnt see that shoe come out yet.

I love my Shoes!
I looked everywhere for this style and leather. They are usually the most comfortable shoes! But I found 61/2 to be too big, yet size 6 was extremely narrow. I love them & use them, but they fit snuggly with no room for thick socks :(

Amazing!
These shoes are extremely comfortable. The soles are soft and quiet. The gray color goes with nearly everything. The only problem is that short socks get sucked in to them and long ones stick out and look funny!

Cute shoes for casual wear, but...
These are cute shoes, but the seams at the center of the shoe leading to the tongue(correct name?) Hurts the top of my feet. I have to loosen the shoe laces a little to make them comfortable to wear.

Clarks desert trek -
This is my favorite shoe there is. I'm on my third pair. However, I find that quality control is an issue for these shoes in spite of their high price. The pair I just recently got from Zappos had a large wad of glue stuck inside the toe area. It made it very uncomfortable for my big toe. By the time I realized what the problem was, I had already worn the shoes too much to return. I was able to get pliers and pull out most of the glue.
Also the leather in that front panel is not as high a quality as the rest of the shoe. I've had similar problems with my other pairs of Desert Treks.
Also I have found that the sizing is not consistent (though my current pair feels true to size).

The real deal -
I needed a new pair of anything shoes, and everyone recommended Clarks. I decided to try them out and they are definitely everything they're cracked up to be. They look great--everyone loves them. Not gonna lie, I had a couple blisters the first few days, but leather always has to be worn in. Now they're perfect! You should really try these out!

I prefer crepe-sole shoes for work but in the past have had trouble finding quality women's shoes for work. I have had a pair of Desert Treks for about two years. They were comfortable from day one and have held up very well. In Idaho, I may be working one day in the desert, the next in the mountains; dust, rocks, heat, or cold. The Treks have been great.

I love the desert trek, but for those shopping, it should be noted that on the back of the shoe is a little walking-man icon thats difficult to see in the picture.

I was looking for a casual shoe to wear with jeans. Although they are not as comfortable as they look like they would be, they don't necessarily bother my feet. Thanks Zappos.

Desert Boots best for casual attire -
I've been looking for a traditional desert boot for a long time. I finally found some at the outlet mall (Clark's) but they didn't have my size. I found them on line but a much higher price. I still wanted them, actually I bought in both colors, but it took a few trys to get the right size. Once I did, I was happy.

I have worn these shoes most days (except summer) for at least 5 years. I have the black which is no longer available and wonder if we can get it back? For the shopper who did not like the shoe's support, I felt the same way until I used Spenco arch supports. They're great and do not make the shoe too tight.

Not for wide feet!!
Based on the look and all the reviews, I oredered this shoe but was sorely disappointed when I found I could not wear it and must send it back. I do have wide feet, but I never have to order wide sized shoes. Usually, if something fits tightly to begin with, I will endure it a few hours while it stretches. I love the style but I simply cannot endure wearing it.

Cute shoes but not enough support -
The shoes are just as I remember in high school. I guess I have gotten used to shoes with better support overall. They are comfortable but after a day in them, my feet ache from not enough arch support. I put in some Dr. Scholl soles, but that made the shoes too tight. Also, if you get the leather ones do not spray them with water proofing spray! I did that right away and thought I ruined them! They dried all blotchy and weird. I had to scrub them with saddle soap and then use colorless leather lotion. They are much better but not like when I first got them. Over all, they are nice shoes for casual wear but don't expect them to support your feet very well.

I am so disappointed with this shoe. The look isn't bad, but since there is padding only at the heel area and not under the ball of the foot it hurts! Can't be returned as worn outside and thrown away money hurts even more.
