I have only worn these shoes for races and tempo runs. There is simply not as much mass to the mid sole or out sole as other Saucony trainers. I am ok with this and wear Triumph's or Ride's to log lots of miles and pull the Sinister's out when I want to go fast. For someone over 200 lbs this is a great shoe for a 5k, 10k or half. Not quite as light as the A2 or Fastwich, but enough cushion for us larger guys.

GREAT SHOE -
As others have said, this is a very comfortable running shoe but they lose their bounce fairly quickly. If you're running 4+ days a week, you'll probably want to replace them after 8-12 weeks. They are well priced, though, and very comfortable so it is worth it to me. Just purchased my third pair from Zappos.

Definitely a racer -
This shoe looks fast and unique- I bought it as a neutral trainer but after 50 miles the cushioning flattened out. This didn't surprise me after I looked at the amount of EVA on the bottom of the shoe (not enough). The heel also felt a little unstable- I'm guessing because of the same issues. I have loved Saucony as they fit my feet well, but there were too many negatives to this shoe for me to buy it again.

So far, so good -
I've primarily used these on the treadmill for repeats (accumulated 50 miles or so) and ran outdoors for 7-8 miles leading up to the Boston Marathon. I was surprised how well they held up during the marathon: good support, lightweight, and no issues to my feet.

Grid Sinister -
Shoe looks and feels great for maybe two to three months of moderate mileage at the most... Shoe wears down faster than anything I've worn before and leaves you riding almost entirely on the Flexion plate really quickly. There are shoes with significantly more longevity for the same price made by Saucony.

WOW!
I love the sneakers. They came the next day and I was able to use them in track right away. This is an awesome shoe.

Top Notch Running Shoe -
Great racing shoe, light weight with cushion. It did not wear out as quickly compared to other similar style shoes. Would not want to run a marathon in them 15K or less is ideal for this shoe.

Great Performance Shoe For Full To Half Marathon -
First pair of Saucony shoes I have owned. I wore them for one marathon and rotate them with Saucony Triumphs on runs 15 miles and longer. Great fit, great responsiveness, feel like a racing flat with more cushion, and they corrected an anterior shin splint problem. Definitely for neutral to supinator. Have heard they wear out quickly, but I have put about 100 miles on my current pair and they still look and feel new. Compared to Triumphs, they have a little bit smaller toe box.

Sinister soles -
Great shoes, as long as you don't put any miles on them. These remind me of the Fastwitch...the ones that seemed to be missing the "wear" part of the soles. I loved the Sinister for about two weeks. But they are now falling apart with the black part of the soles coming off of the cushion part. I love Saucony but these were a rip off!
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Fastwitch speed ( not the endurance).

Flashy -
Shoes arrived speedily...first impression too flashy and metallic...very comfortable and lightweight, breathable. Ok for gym at school for my son, he did complain that his feet got soaked when playing on wet grass. Overall ok, wouldn't buy this brand again, first impression put me off.

Grid Sinister is wicked!
My wife got me into running about 2 years ago. I had always been an Adidas man, trusting only the Adidas brand for all my sporting needs. My wife kept preaching Saucony. After some serious shin splints I decided to take her advice. The shoe is fantastic. Its like wearing a sock with exactly the right support. Its corny to say, but I've consistently been running greater distance and attribute the gain to the new hardware! The shoe breathes better than most footwear w/ the exception of a sandal. The support is great. The shoe is great. Saucony will be my running shoe from this point forward!

 | | Your customer service is so awesome you must get sick of receiving these types of emails, however I had to send a thank you. I only placed my order yesterday and yet today I get home from work and SURPRISE! My boots are here! Free shipping, fast shipping, giant selection...what else can a customer ask for? Customer service in general is lacking when dealing with other retailers but Zappos rules!
