As others have stated, the toe box is unusually tight and the material under the elastic almost pinches across the top of the foot. The width was fine everywhere else. The insoles are soft, but don't offer much support. I can see that the heels would rub blisters. Very uncomfortable. I won't be keeping these shoes.

Footbed is incredibly soft and arch support is great. They rub a little bit on the top of the foot. Maybe something to do with the elastic criss-cross pressing down on the top of the shoe. Maybe it's my foot. Absent that minor problem, I imagine the shoe will be very good for walking. Hopefully I'll develop a callous. All in all, the shoe is worth the money. They're true to size and width and are well-constructed.

These shoes are comfortable except the backs of them tear up the skin right above my heel. I've only worn them a few times so I'm hoping they'll get better as I break them in. Bandaids under my socks make them comfortable.

I was looking for comfy work shoes. I had never had Naturalizers before, but thought they were designed for comfort. The day I got them I was disappointed in the slightly "old lady" look and the lack of arch support, but they felt good. The more I wore them, the worse they became. The left shoe was tearing into my Achilles heel and the same thing was happening on the top of my foot. Ouch! I figured they needed to stretch a little. After 4 wearings I now call them the "Evil Shoes".

Love, love, love these shoes! Having worn the Naturalizer Creston style for quite a while and my size wasn\'t available, I decided to try these. They are almost identical to Creston, except for the stretchy criss-cross straps. They don\'t bother my high instep and the shoes are VERY comfortable. I\'m on my feet 14 hours/day, and they provide needed support. Only wish they came in red or a tan.\r\nBTW, I ordered these yesterday on line at about 2pm and they arrived today at noon! It doesn\'t get any better than that. Thanks Zappos!!!!

These shoes are very uncomfortable and rub my heels raw. Even with double blister band-aids. I wish I could return them.

I am so disappointed in these shoes. The make my feet sweat profusely. And the tab on the back catches the hem of my pants, and it is really annoying. I have worn them a little, but now they are in the back of the closet. Wish I could return them :(

I'll echo what others have said here. The toe box in this shoe is too narrow, and I wear a double narrow. These shoes are uncomfortable and these are going to be returned. They also feel slightly smaller than average; I would not say a full 1/2 size but almost! The width runs true (except for the strangely tight toe box). I liked them otherwise. They seem constructed, cute, and I liked the soft suede sock liner. Oh well.

I wear most shoes size 11 comfortably, but this shoe seemed really compact on my toes, like the top was pressing down on them. I didn't need more length, just more room at the top! Otherwise, it seemed like a very comfortable shoe, average arch support. I was sorry there was no 11 1/2 to try!

Cute and comfortable with one exception. About an inch below the big toe on my right foot it rubs quite a bit and can be painful.

I ordered a size 9 (I can go either way 9 or 9 1/2), but it was too small - if in doubt, order up a half size.

Best little shoe I thought I would never have -
I wear a size 12 M and it is next to impossible to get a good pair of shoes in the stores and malls here in northern FL. I turned to the internet for help and went to Zappos because my size 16 son has been using you for his shoes. It took me 3 days to find the exact shoe I wanted. This shoe looks exactly like the plastic shoe I bought from department store that is now falling apart but they were the only 12s I could find. I ordered the shoe yesterday and they got here today free of charge. I got an email telling me that you were upgrading me one level in shipping for free but I did not expect over night. The shoe is exactly what I wanted. It is comfortable and classy. It makes my long feet look slim and classy. I will buy from Naturalizer and Zappos again. No one else gives you what you want, at a price you can afford and treats you well too. Make sure you don't make your search too specific. I kept looking at Mary Janes and flats and when I finally just looked for 12's in black I found my 1 inch heel shoe that is virtually flat and feels like a dream. Go ahead and order them. You will not be sorry.
