Well, these shoes are just great! I bought the light brownish color and they go with everything. The fit is just right. They open up to allow your foot to slide in, then the velcro strap snugs everything up. They were comfortable from the beginning, support my foot, and they look good. Ecco knows comfort. I always get a good fit in Ecco.

This shoe is very comfortable and seems to be well made. Buyers need to be aware that the arch support is pretty pronounced; out of the box it feels quite high and it takes a little getting used to. The fit is true to size; however, the shoe runs very narrow (even for someone who wears a narrow). I would not recommend the shoe for wide, high arched feet and do not feel it would accommodate orthotics. It looks great with jeans; is easy to put on/take off; keeps the feet fairly warm; and the leather is nice and soft.

I like the look of this shoe, with the cross-straps with velcro, but I find the velcro doesn't close it tightly enough for me. This could be because the shoe didn't come in a half size, so I had to order up a half size and find it's slightly big for me (mostly in the right foot). The shoe is comfortable, in general, but the sole is a little narrower than what I'm used to (wearing a lot of Merrells, which have nice wide soles) so sometimes I feel a little "wobbly" when I walk fast. I like the fact that it is very easy to put my orthotics in this shoe. Overall, I like the shoe, it feels fairly comfortable (and I have picky feet!), but I wish it came in half sizes and had a wider sole.

Shoe is pretty comfortable, although the heels slip. I've gotten used to it. I wish the heel was slightly higher. I feel like I'm walking backwards. It is not as attractive as I thought it would be, but I kept it because it was not uncomfortable and it does accommodate orthotics.
