I adore these boots. The leather is of good quality in feel and appearance, they are adorable with skirts and tights, and they are very comfortable. At work I am on my feet much of the day, and wear these without any problems. They fit me well, as I have rather thin calves, but there is no way I could fit jeans inside them. If one has muscular calves then I would not bother trying these. Overall I am extremely pleased and enjoy wearing them.

This boot is fantastic. I had issues with some other styles that were too big around my calf. These are perfectly proportioned and the leather is high quality. They are comfortable and are great with skirts and tights or skinny jeans. I like them so much I bought them in brown, too.

These are wonderful boots. I love everything about them! They were supremely comfortable from the first minute that I put them on.

Gorgeous, but tight. These boots are beautiful: understated, classy, and a great shade (cognac), but they are quite tight around my reasonably slim calves. Fitting a pair of jeans inside is difficult. The foot bed isn't very cushioned, either, but since they run about a half size large, an insert would work perfectly. I'm very sad to be returning these boots.

Poor Zappos! Six pair of black boots ordered and returned before I found this perfect pair! Clarks Cardy are gorgeous, but a little too narrow in the toes where I have arthritis pain. I originally ordered this pair in 8 1/2, but they were a little large, so I ordered an 8, which is perfect. These boots are a gorgeous, sleek leather that fit nicely around my calves with little gap. The tabs at the heel and back of calf, and the beautiful engraving on the outside of the upper calf give the boot extra class. Thank you, Zappos, for your quality (and patience!) in service and products. I am a loyal customer!

Zappos stayed with me as I ordered two other pair of boots that just didn\'t fit right. These are a hit! My foot is narrow in the heel and wide in the front. I have an average leg size. These are perfect and can be worn all day. I measure a 10.5, but this size 10 fits well, so I\'d order a half size smaller.

I just received these boots today. They are absolutely beautiful; soft leather, sturdy sole. The entire inside is lined with suede. The only problem: I can only zip them half way up my calf! I have never had a problem with knee-high boots before and I have owned several pair in the past, including a pair of Calvin Klein's at the moment, which I can tuck jeans into. These are very narrow, and I think I'm going to have to send them back. I'm so disappointed. The hunt for the perfect brown boot continues; these almost made it! If you have super skinny calves, this boot is for you.

I'm a first-time customer. I did a lot of research checking out many products at Zappos before I decided on this Etienne Aigner "Vira" boot! It is of excellent leather quality. Great color: "cognac". It is true to size. "It fits me like a glove", no need to break-in. Easy on and off with full-size zipper. Shipping: my boots arrived faster than expected, and the package was well wrapped to protect the product. Yes, I can recommend this 'Etienne Aigner' product! I'll wear my cool boots tomorrow night, to a special party. Cheers, Satisfied Customer

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
