These boots are about pefect. look very much like real suede. I ordered a half size larger than my normal shoe size to be able to wear heavy wool socks and add an insole. So far they have worked out fine. Only one negative, there is a stitch which hold the suede like material to the sock liner and that has ripped out. But has not affected the boots at all. Really it\'s more like a baste stitch.

I ordered this boot for my daughter as she wanted something that could be worn with casual jeans or a dressy skirt. She loved them. The fit was perfect as her shoe size translated to the boot size. The sweater cuff at the top can be tucked into the boot to provide a slightly different look as well. This boot was a very good buy for the price so I highly recommend it!

I like the look of these boots. The legwarmers are really cute, but the construction is really flimsy and the sole is super thin. My heel slips up when I walk and it feels like I'm wearing thin slippers. Not a good quality shoe.

This boot looks great online. In person, however, it looks cheap and poorly made. The sole is very thin without any traction. And the fake suede is super fake. There is some sort of plastic structure in the heel that makes it very hard to pull the boot on. Forget about socks! I wanted a nice fall boot that would weather the cold and even some rain. This is not the boot.

 |  | I love your Company and have ordered several things. I am dealing with kidney cancer and am always looking for red shoes to make me feel happy when I am getting chemo. You have always been able to help me. Your staff is amazing and last month I ordered a pair of red sandals and just recently received a box filled with little gifts to make anyone feel better. Your team member also sent me your 2008 Culture Book with a beautiful note. I have been reading all the uplifting notes that many people wrote in the book and can't believe that there are so many wonderful people out there. I also worked for a company who had core values that we all had to follow, but when I got cancer, this health company did nothing to help me through this time. They recently stopped my disability because they said they only allow two years. I am now going to live on my social security of $1,400.00 per month. I sent the CEO a letter requesting an extension and was told they have done all they could for me. My Chemo pill alone costs $6,000.00 per month and I have to stay on the expensive Cobra so that I can get it. Soon that too will expire. I just know that I have such high regard for your company and Zappos. Thank you for being who you are and I wish I was close to Las Vegas to visit your place and thank everyone personally.
