These looked great, but I agree with the other poster that they run small. I would guess half size small, but I will know for sure after I\'ve returned the first pair and get a half size up.

The shoe definitely fits true to width. However, I would say that it runs small by about a size in length. A nice stylish retro shoe. Great for weekends.

First of all, Zappos is awesome. Shipping service is fabulous.\r\n\r\nThe M556 is a good shoe that seems pretty durable and I have no problem working long shifts in it. Very comfortable!

Beautiful shoes. I'll admit that I went for appearance when shopping for new shoes this time around. I've always trusted New Balance, so I set out for the coolest looking ones I could find in my price range. So. They don't disappoint in that department. I have to say, for some reason I find these shoes aren't totally comfy when I'm sitting, whether in class or otherwise. Walking and jogging, these guys are fantastic, but when I sit down, something doesn't feel perfect. Nonetheless, I have no regrets about the purchase. Recommended.

Excellent shoes for kicking around... a little more narrow than most New Balance, which is nice for a more stylish fit.

 |  | I can't thank you enough! I have always had a difficult time finding comfortable shoes because I have a very narrow foot. I now have a medical foot issue that has progressed to the point of needing to replace nearly all of my shoes with relatively flat, well-made (translation: expensive) shoes to enable me just to walk without excessive pain. Needless to say, it is difficult to know immediately if a given shoe will both fit my narrow foot and not cause a great deal of pain after an hour of wear. Your free-return policy has been a true blessing to me. It is not easy to spend $170.00 on a pair of shoes that may hurt my feet after an hour and be unwearable if those shoes cannot be returned easily. The specialty shoe store in my area is great, but they offer a limited selection and any special orders can only be returned with a 15% restocking fee. Other online shoe stores require me to pay the return shipping fee and cannot begin to match the customer service that you provide. This can get costly and time consuming when one has the type of issues I have and needs to replace an entire wardrobe of shoes with well-built shoes. I have to say, even if I did not have foot issues, Zappos would be my shoe store for the selection and great customer service alone. Additionally, you offer such quick shipping, the best customer service I have found in as long as I can remember and great selection. I am incredibly happy that I was told about Zappos. You have simplified this part of my life, and believe me, with my foot pain, that is a very large part of my life. I have written other thank you notes to Zappos as well, but I wanted to send a special note of thanks for the quick shipping. I will continue to rave about Zappos to friends and family!
