The calves for this boot are huge; I was looking for a much snugger fit on my calves, but they were much too loose. The sole/heel of these shoes are also some sort of plastic which I quickly found out when I slid and fell twice within 30 minutes of walking on them in dry weather. I can't imagine them in rain or snow and see re-soling a requirement unless you want to injure yourself. The leather, however, is nice and feels good quality.

This boot slouches nicely once you start wearing it. I got the boots in gray and have gotten a good number of compliments on them. When I first tried it on I almost slipped too because of the heel, and I thought once I got it marked up from walking they would stop slipping around. Not the case! Also, if you have small calves, this boot will be huge around your legs. I have huge calves and it\\\'s pretty big around mine.

Great boots! My first time shopping on Zappos, I needed some fall boots and wanted them in grey. These boots are so cute, not too tight around the calf and the buckle is so cute. Glad I went with the right choice.

These boots are awesome. I searched for a long time to find the right pair and I found them with Chinese Laundry. I am not really into scrunchy boots, but they look so good with all the current fashions. These boots manage to pull off slouchy in a way that is classic and will transcend the current fashions into the next couple of years. I got the grey suede; they fit true to size-and most importantly for me, they fit my larger calves and they stay up! Friends have bought similar products based on my recommendation and are very happy also!

These boots are killer, but not in a good way. They were so cute out of the box, but I tried them on, took two steps on my office's hardwood floor and immediately slid because the heel is a cheap piece of plastic. They were also sort of slouchy on me and combined with the heel that seemed destined to make me slip I decided to return them.

I ordered these in grey suede and I am very pleased. Initially when I took them out of the box I was a little concerned because I didn\'t realize the back had a slit on the top (which allows you to fold over the top if you please). I decided to keep them because the buckle and straps on the bottom are really cute and I love the subtle blue tint to the grey. These are really comfortable and I worked in them on my feet all day with no pain. For those of you with skinny calves, these might slouch quite a bit, but if you have large muscular calves like me then these are highly recommended.

I’m really happy with these boots! I have a wide calf, so it was great to find something cute that fits! The leather is really soft and they look great on! My complaints would be that the sole of the boots is really flat, so you’ll probably want to put in your own insole. Also, and this is the bigger issue, the heel on the bottom of the boots is made out of a sort of plastic, so it’s slippery compared to the rubber you’d expect to find there. I haven’t had any issues so far, but I’ll be hesitant to wear them out once it starts snowing.

I ordered the gray suede and am definitely pleased! Very nice quality and a lovely deep gray color. I have muscular calves and they fit very well. Also, I love how I can leave the flap up, turn it down and even push it down for a more slouchy style - very versatile! I love these boots!!

I ordered these in black leather, but sent them back. The calf is enormous on these, and I don\'t have a super skinny calf, either. Plus the leather was pretty thin and was not going to say up. I would recommend for someone with large calves, but it didn\'t work for me.

Thought I had ended my quest for the perfect grey flat boot, after reading the reviews. I was wrong. From afar, in the packaging, they are fabulous. Put them on and they don't stay put. Heavy around the ankle area.

These boots are super cute with a wide calf. They definitely came in a half size larger than I normally wear, so go for a 1/2 size down!

Yes! These are the exact boots I've been trying to find for three seasons! I'm pregnant and my feet grew half a size, so my Chinese Laundry boots from last year are too tight, a perfect reason to buy another pair! I got these in gray suede and they are beautifully made and very comfy for being as flat as they are. They have a little heel and feel more supportive than last year's which were completely flat. I love this brand, great style and quality for a reasonable price! Also I have athletic calves and these are plenty roomy. They fit true to size even with good socks so there is no need to order up as with most boots; my feet are even on the wide side now due to my extra weight and they still fit fine. Do yourself a favor and snatch a pair of these up before they're all gone!
