Great! A little rough on the inside, where the stitching is. A razor blade took care of that. Fifth pair; I wear my Birkenstocks year around.

I first saw these Birkenstocks in a natural shoe store in London, and was sad that they didn't have my size in stock. I figured they'd be hard to find at home in the States; and indeed they were, until I located them on my trusty Zappos site. These sandals are a more stylish version of the Arizona, and the "antique brown (coarse)" will age really nicely as the color becomes richer and warmer over time. I have pretty wide hooves and was surprised that I had to tighten them all the way to the last hole for a proper fit (that never happens). They seemed to run slightly wide, even for a Birk. The description of the leather as "coarse" is a bit off-putting. It's actually pretty soft, and like the sole, will smooth out over time. I liked these shoes so much that I bought the darker color a few days later.

Great slippers! Very comfortable. Wear them a lot. Recommended for everyone who wants to walk without having a backache at the end of the day.

I love these shoes! They are worth the money! I have a wide foot and the normal width fits them perfect, they hug the foot. The basket weave detail differentiates the shoe from every other Birkenstock out there! They feel more feminine than other Birks I have bought in the past.

 |  | Hi, Zappos has been one of my favorite shopping sites for a while, but now my teenage son is a fan. He is 15 and wears a size 15 shoe. It is no easy feat to find a shoe that he will wear that is in his size. Other stores carry the skate brands, but stop at a size 13. I suggested he look on your site and he found several styles he would wear in size 15. We placed the order for a pair of Vans and 20 minutes later, I got a confirmation that they were shipped.
