Beautiful shoe - so sorry it had to go back -
This is a beautiful shoe in the hazelnut combo. The buttery soft leather is wonderful and the color is lovely and versatile. I own several pair of Riekers and had read this style ran big, so I ordered both my normal size and one size down. It was really comfy on my foot standing still but even in the smaller of the options I literally walked out of the shoe on the right, my smaller foot, even with a good weight trouser sock. So both pair will go back, with regret, as this shoe's last is just not for me. But if you're fortunate enough to have it be a good fit for you, you'll own a beautiful pair of shoes!

Very comfortable, except at first my heel was rubbing on the back of the shoe, when I would walk, which caused severe itchiness on my heel when using the shoe. After that, the shoe was great to use. I will say, I wish that it didn’t create so many leather bend lines on the front of the shoe, due to bending down too much with the shoe.
Other than that, it's really great to use.

Walk a mile in their shoes!
After a bad shoe/foot experience while on vacation some time ago, I found a shoe store that sold Riekers and similarly well-known brands. They had this one in my size, which was one reason for buying it. The shoe also looked good, though with hurting feet 1,500 miles from home, I would have gladly abandoned looks for comfort. Fortunately I didn't have to. As highway signs say, EZ On, EZ Off is one attribute. Others are superior comfort and support and durability. We travel a lot, and I ask shoes to be comfortable on many terrains from sandy footpaths to rocky cliffs in Maine. These shoes withstand all and protect my feet well. Good with ultra-casual slacks/jeans and good with suits. Mostly I wear them with socks, and when feet swell by the end of the day, the elastic gusset takes over for comfort. The square toe box is great, too. I have the shoe in both black and brown, with "back-ups" for when the originals finally give up. I'm both a Rieker and Zappos aficionado. Great quality and service from both!

This is a very well made shoe with great arch support. The mixture of patent leather and matte leather is different!

I had never worn this brand before. I found these shoes shopping one day and purchased them in brown. I could not wait to get home to see if Zappos had any other colors. Love the look and they are so comfortable. I am a 100% true size 10 and they are true to size.

I am on my feet all day, and am very happy with these shoes. I had ordered the brown ones at Christmas time and liked them so much I bought them in black too.

Rieker's extra soft!
This shoe looks nice and feels wonderful but, after I wore these several times they stretched too much and are now too uncomfortably loose!! I wish they were a size smaller and normally I have wider feet but, these were so soft I thought all would be fine... when they are too loose everywhere. Too expensive, too.

Customer Service not up to par -
My shoes are wonderful! First time in life shoe was comfortable from day one. I quickly ordered the last pair available in my size. The shoes are a little too wide in the back and I was sorely disappointed that Zappos would not provide shoe inserts for free as Nordstrom does.

I am a size 11, ordered the 43 with some doubt it would fit. (Women’s 11 is usually a 42). The shoe is smart looking and made well, but it was too big. I am re-ordering for a 42.

Very comfortable from the start. A tad bit wide but with a lightweight sock they are fine. I have a somewhat narrow foot.

Comfy and stylish! I was looking for a cool weather shoe that was both casual and a little dressier than a loafer. This is a perfect compromise. Fit comfortably from the start. Rieker never lets me down!

I bought these shoes as an alternative to sneakers for walking to the subway and to my office. Great choice! They're a bit funky looking (I like that) and not too hippie-like. Very comfortable right from the start.

I love these shoes -
These Riekers require almost zero break-in time because the leather is supple. There are no rough seams at the heel and I was able to wear them all day from the start. I have them in both black and brown and I highly recommend them - the craftsmanship is superb. I usually wear a 10 to 10 1/2 and the 41 fits well.

I bought a black pair, and within a week ordered the brown. I wear them all day and they are great. I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly no break in time.

These were initially comfortable but soon become the most *painful* shoes I had. The bottoms of my feet never hurt so much. I even tried using different shoe pads but they didn't work. Tossed them out soon after. Ouch.

Extremely soft and comfortable.
Loved these shoes! They are so soft and comfortable. No break-in necessary, although I do feel they run a half to a whole size bigger but, wore them anyway!!! They are so soft around your foot you can wear them ALL DAY!!! My feet always seem to ache after the day wore on but, these are great.

Great Rieker Shoes!
I purchased a pair of these shoes for my mom because she has trouble finding shoes that are wide enough and comfortable for her feet. I have had a pair of these shoes for a few years. My mom and I both love the shoes. My mom was able to slip them on and wear them immediately without any problems. Now she wants me to pick out all her shoes! Very comfortable and stylish!

Wonderful Shoe -
This is my 9th pair of Rieker shoes and I don't think I will ever wear another brand. This shoe runs somewhat larger than the others I have purchased but it still provides the comfort I have come to want in a shoe. You can put the shoes on when first purchased and walk miles in them without any problems. Would recommend this shoe for women who want style plus comfort.

Excellent choice -
These ironically weren't my first choice when browsing Zappos for new brown shoes, but I'm pleased that the ones I *thought* I wanted were out of stock when I came back to buy, and I ended up with this very comfortable, yet classy shoe. The leather is super soft and the soles quiet, good-for-walking rubber. As someone else mentioned, the toe is slightly narrow, but perfect for me with thin socks. Worth the few extra dollars!

I ordered these shoes one day and the next day was walking the streets of NYC. No break in time was required! I ordered the shoes a size smaller because the color I wanted wasn't available in sz 11, the shoes fit perfect. They must run a little large.

I have problem feet and this shoe gives support at toe area and arch. I purchased a Rieker in Germany, a summer model, and I was so pleased with it I purchased this one for the Fall.

great style -
I am very pleased with this purchase. The toe box, however, is not as roomy as other Reiker styles. The style of this shoe is very versatile which I appreciate, especially for travel.
