It is a great workout shoe. The width is a little less than I would like, but it is getting better with use. Zappos was excellent, as usual. It would help if the Nike Free line was more readily available in more colors, sizes and styles.

I\'ve ran only in top-end Asics for 15 years, but these shoes are better than anything I\'ve ran in. I typically run short distances (<4 miles) or sprints and these shoes have helped to improve my form and increase my speed. I highly recommend them. If you plan on wearing them without socks your regular size should be fine but with socks, order a half size up.

These are my 2nd pair of Nike Free 5.0. Best sneakers ever! Super lightweight and the mesh fabric lets my feet breathe so they're super cool! The sole is really flexible, like being barefoot on the beach but protected. Don't really need the laces, just keep them loose and pull on like a loafer. Love these shoes.

These are the greatest shoes I have ever worn. Ever. They basically fit like a sock with a sole and excellent arch support. It's a bit odd at first though, because you can feel the ground through the shoes. It hurts your toes a little bit when you first run in them, but it passes very quickly. Afterwards you'll notice being sore in parts of your legs that you haven't been sore before. It's just a side effect of the way the shoes are built. Don't worry about and buy these shoes!

Shoe is okay. Very light, very flexible. Decent cushioning, decent arch support. I wish they fit me better. Unfortunately for me, the last is not correct for me and does not follow the natural curvature of my foot. I don\'t know if this is a general issue, but would suggest trying the shoe in the house for a while. I wore them outside too soon, thinking that they fit but only realizing after a long walk that they didn\'t.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, and have helped me improved my side-to-side agility during training. I highly recommend these to anyone that wants to strengthen your feet and ankles.

I ordered these because lately I've been experimenting with running with a mid-foot strike instead of a heel strike, and I was curious about the "barefoot" feel these shoes are supposed to offer. Overall the shoes are comfortable and although I don't feel barefoot in them, I did notice the difference between these and my normal running shoes right away. The absence of any rigid support makes your feet do a lot more work than in most shoes, which is exactly what I'm after. Overall I'd say these shoes are a good investment. My only negatives being that they feel narrow. I got a half size larger than my normal size and they still feel a little tight, and think twice before ordering the orange. In the picture it looks like normal orange, but in reality they are traffic safety neon orange, very bright.

Love the shoes. They seem to be a little tighter though than the previous pair I got, but they are still the most comfortable running shoes I own. And Zappos did a fantastic job delivering them overnight, even though I just ordered Standard shipping.

Thirteen years ago I tore both achilles tendons and thought my running days were gone for good. I starting running again 14 months ago with a great deal of pain. A friend of mine turned me on to running barefoot and after a ton of reading and research I started. My health club requires closed toed shoes and of course it gets quite cold here for six months a year. I have been running in these shoes at the club now for six weeks and am running more often and with less pain than I have in some time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get away from the traditional running shoe.

I use them for daily wear. Feels like wearing slippers.\\r\\nMy feet and knees twinged for a few days until I got use to them (they have less support than most shoes), but after that, very comfortable.\\r\\nAs long as they hold up to wear and tear, I will be buying another pair when these wear out.

Excellent shoes. I have the black and anthracite size 9. I recently participated in a half-marathon charity event for pancreatic cancer awareness and the shoes are very light, highly functioned, and provide an extra giddy-up in my stride.

My teenage son wears size 14 shoes, has narrow feet, and is very picky about his shoes. Nike tennis shoes fit him best. He loves this shoe because even in size 14 it is practically weightless. Some other shoes that advertise as lightweight are not lightweight once you get to size 14. This one is. It fits his foot well without looking like he has it overlapped in the laces. One of my favorite things: it washes well in the washing machine! This is our second pair of Nike Free, we bought last year's model also, and we both love them.

Super shoes, finally my feet don't hurt after a run. Surprisingly gentle given that they are made for 'free running'. I had to purchase the next size up, but that usually tends to be the case for athletic shoes for me. Only complaint is that the soles tend to eat bits of gravel since they split so much, but if you're running, these typically come right out naturally. Walking, you may catch a stone every now and then.

Great running shoes. I chose the 5.0s because I did not want to go from standard running shoes to barefoot mode in one jump. The shoes are incredibly comfortable although their "form fitting" nature does take some getting used to. At least for me, they run a half size small. I take an 11 and needed an 11 1/2 in these shoes.

I love these shoes everything about them is great. They are nice and comfy and they look great. The only thing that I would change is the feel of the fabric, it feels cheap and that it might not last. I hope I'm wrong.

I've found these shoes to be very supportive despite several reviewers who said that they were not supportive enough. The shoes are very lightweight and I find myself wearing them everywhere: running, walking, gym and out and about. Overall very happy with the product and its style.

I did my research before making a final purchasing decision on a running shoe. I read a lot of great reviews on the Free 5.0 V4 from Zappos and other sites. I have no regrets whatsoever. It's a great running shoe. I run an average of 4 miles three times a week. I haven't to this day felt any after effects of an aching foot. Forget the Airmax and Shox. This is the real deal. And it looks great, too! Thanks Zappos and Nike. I will definitely stick to the Free / Barefoot running type shoes from now on.

Very light, very comfortable running shoe. Still too much support/cushioning to be considered like running barefoot. Rocks get caught in the sole easily. Overall a very good running shoe that strengthens the foot muscles.

Best Nike Athletic Shoes - Had trouble finding a decent, non-fluorescent pair of running/lifting shoes at retail and stumbled across these online. They are light, extremely comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. The tongue is actually sewn to one side of the shoe, so you can get them on quick without it getting in the way. Considering buying a second pair to have when my new ones get run down.

 |  | I just wanted to thank you for being so wonderful. Last week I ordered a pair of shoes but when I got them home the color didn't match so I needed to return them. What I didn't realize was that when I shipped them back to you, my cell phone charger was also in the box. The last couple of days I have been going crazy looking for it. But to my surprise it showed up today. My UPS driver just dropped off a tiny Zappos box. As I opened the box knowing that I hadn't ordered anything, I was amazed and grateful to find the charger in there. This little gesture just proves how much your company goes above and beyond for their customers and I for one truly, truly appreciate it. When you say "We are always here for you" you really mean it!
