Great boots, super fast shipping, boots look good and feel like shoes right out of the box. No need for insoles. Very happy with Zappos; will shop here again!

I purchased these shoes for my husband because he loves riding his motorcycle, and at the same time be able to have comfort while wearing boots. My husband has bad knees along with some ankle pain due to injuries and he's always looking for shoes that will provide support with every step. He found the perfect shoe/boot. They provide cushion/support with every step, not only to your foot but they provide aid to the knee. They are stylish to wear with your favorite jeans or even casual slacks. When my husband tried them on, you could see satisfaction in his face, and said, "I can even run with these and not feel pain." He loved them.

Shoes are more narrow than normal. Also, if you take the chance on these boots, order a half size larger for a better fit. These boots are not very well constructed. Topside feels like a very low grade of leather. Soles are cheap and thin. Heat fused construction and no stitching. Not sure how long they will hold up. Comfort level is a five out of ten. These are a brand Made in China for Zappos. They should stick to their excellent customer service and forget about entering the shoe market as these are not in line with Zappos' customer service policy.

I ordered these and the black steel toed version. I found that the steel toed version was just slightly less wide and a little more form fitting to a medium 9.5 foot. Those are the ones I kept. The style of these in brown as a "pull up" did look a tad 60s-ish. In black they look cooler. The steel toes will serve my purpose for a "hot weather/around town" motorcycle boot. These steel toes would be a stylish boot for the guy that has to visit job sites with safety shoes, but otherwise wants an office shoe that's comfortable. I don't think I would want to walk long distances in them with the somewhat roomy fit.

I generally purchase all my shoes at a shoe store, never heard of Fitzwell before. Was looking for a slip on boot (my daughter told me to shop here) when I read these run somewhat wide even in medium width, I took a chance. Free shipping both ways. This is truly a great shoe, fit right out of the box; can't ask for anything more. What even surprised me Zappos upgraded the shipping for nothing. Great shoe, great service. Free shipping both ways; you can't go wrong.

Searched the internet for several weeks for a boot I could wear to work and while operating my motorcycle.\r\n\r\nFinally came upon the Fitzwell Rubens at Zappos. They resembled LOX boots we used to wear in my aircraft carrier days!\r\n\r\nFree & quick shipping from Zappos had my boots here in rapid fashion. I was immediately impressed with the build, fit and weight (or lack thereof) with these boots. Construction is first-rate.\r\n\r\nI strongly recommend the Fitzwell Ruben!

Every order I have placed with Zappos has been a good experience. Many times you upgrade the shipping on your own and I have the item overnight (as occurred with an order I placed yesterday - the item is out for delivery already!) I am in business and know that that is not something you have to do; so I just wanted to say thank you. It's little things like that that make a good service a great service.
