These boots are awesome! I\'ve worn them almost every single day since I got them. Recommend weather-proofing them to prevent water stains.

I really wanted to like these, but I agree with other reviews. The leather really smells upon opening the box and just looks cheap looking. There were some small spots on mine as well. I got them on just fine, and they felt comfortable in just trying them on, but the slouchy look was not flattering.

I love the shoe, they are cute in person, but if you have bigger calves, they are not for you. I am still deciding on do I want to return them or just wear them with skirts.

After I wore these boots about 10 times I noticed that my feet were cold and wet (it was raining). There are gaping holes in the heels on both boots. Very poor quality.

I was going to return the boots, but it turns out they\'re really comfortable and look great with skirts. My difficulty with them was that I cannot get them over jeans, which was why I bought them in the first place. But perhaps I have freakishly large calves.

I was a little skeptical about how these would look in person, but they're incredibly cute and very comfy. I've worn them with leggings and skinny jeans and had quite a few ladies compliment them and ask where I'd purchased them. I happily directed them to my favorite shoe site, Zappos!

Pros: I love the way they look, they broke in easily. They are keeping their shape well. Reasonably comfortable. Cons: They have absolutely no support whatsoever. The insole is flat plastic. They are very water-sensitive, I'm going to need to invest the time to waterproof them if I want them to last at all.

While the boots are beautiful, I found they run just slightly big and that the leather is not as nice as I expected. Overall, I'm really pleased though.

These were chosen and purchased for my 20 yr old college student daughter, as a gift. She loves them! The color and the fit work well for her casual lifestyle. Recommend them and Zappos!!

I placed an order for a pair of boots. They came in a short time and were everything I expected. It was especially nice to not have to pay shipping and much tax. I originally was going to order the same boots from Macy's, but when I considered the shipping and tax cost, it came to an outrageous amount. Then I tried finding the same boots locally at different stores and was unable to find them. All around I saved money and I was very happy when my boots arrived packaged so nicely. Thanks and when I'm in need of something else, I will always consider Zappos. And, yes, I would recommend your business to anyone.

Very cute! I used to buy boots from Forever 21 and cheap little boutique stores all the time, but those all wore out like crazy and I kept having to replace them one after another. I finally decided to invest a bit more money into my footwear. And I'm glad I did! I went with the black ones and compared to my old boots they look 100 times better and I actually felt soles on the bottom of my feet and not the cold ground! I can already tell these are going to last me the entire season and the next one after that. I'm very tempted to buy more boots from Steve Madden.

Cheap leather, garish dye job on the finish, uncomfortably hard shoe area around the foot, stiff-looking and feeling in the slouchy area, no arch support, cheap sole. And unflattering to boot! This is the kind of boot you'd find in the cheapest shoe shop. Don't even think about them if you are looking for at least moderate quality. For this price you can do better. Keep looking.

I was very excited about this boot as I was looking for a cute and stylish flat brown boot. I got the cognac, and actually really liked the color. The material definitely felt cheap (and looked a little cheap), but I could have gotten over that. What really didn't work for me was the fit around the ankle and calf. I have skinny ankles and thin calves and these looked ridiculous on me. The shaft sagged down and there was too much room in the ankle to be comfortable. I returned them and got the Kenneth Cole Reaction Bard Tender in natural suede instead. And they are gorgeous! They fit great; still a tad loose, but they don't look funny when they sag a little. The difference in price is completely worth it. They look and feel like they are three times more expensive than the Brio.

I felt like Peter Pan in the cognac ones. They are absolutely flat and the folded flap on top cuts your leg short. It made me look way short. I didn't like them and immediately returned them.

I love this boot! It's a completely flat heel, which is exactly what I was looking for. I got the cognac. The color is great, goes with anything. But the color doesn't exactly appear the same on the computer screen, there are darker brown spots/marks on the boots, kind of giving a distressed look, but it is not too noticeable. I still love them! They also run completely true to size. Steve Madden also makes the 'Cybul' boot which is very similar to the 'Brio' boot, but I like Brio better because it looks more feminine on (I've tried on both at a store ) and the Brio doesn't have elastic on the back, which looks bad and makes the boot fit very tight on your leg, making it look fat in my opinion. I would definitely recommend Brio over Cybul. (Brio is also a little cheaper than Cybul.)

Very cute, stylish boot. I have big calves, and the boot was very snug at first, but after wearing them twice with a skirt I can tuck in leggings or skinny jeans with no problem. They are a good height as well since I am 5'3". The leather is not the highest quality, but for the price you can't beat it.

Shoes were a little snug at the calf at first but after I wore them around the house for a bit I did not notice anymore. Stylish. Perfect for walking for long periods of time and for standing all day.

I was extremely excited to receive these shoes. After sticking my feet into them I immediately realized that the left shoe felt snugger than the other. Although, neither foot is uncomfortable, I would like those who have one foot larger than the other to be forewarned. I also tried these shoes on with a thick pair of socks.Overall, the image looks much nicer than the actual shoes. Unfortunately, they look to me like something I could have bought from the rack at Forever 21. I will definitely keep these because I got them on sale, but I think this is the only time to buy them. For this price dollars you want shoes that look like it, not like $30 dollar shoes.

I ended up ordering these boots after determining that my usual high-heeled styles were not going to work for me this fall. (I'm five months pregnant.) So I set out to find an affordable, comfortable and stylish pair to get me through the season. For the most part, these fit the bill. They're a bit tough to pull on and off (even with the minimal foot swelling I've experienced so far in my expectant state), and there's not as much arch support as I would have hoped. Overall, though, pretty decent for the price, and cute to boot (pardon the pun), whether I wear them with leggings and a tunic or a little black dress.

Really cute boots. I found these boots at a store in NYC. I had tried on every other similar shoe in the store and didn't like any of them, so I finally decided this would be the last pair I tried on before leaving. They were perfect! I got them in the cognac color, which is a nice, deep tan. It's a nicer color than the picture depicts. They're pretty comfortable as well. I received a compliment about them only minutes after being out! They look great with skinny jeans, leggings, and skirts. Love 'em! (And by the way, this price is a great deal.)
